I saw this live at the Palladium in NYC. Band was on fire that night. Greatest RUSH show I ever saw, and I've seen many since then. I tell you Hemisphere's. as tired as they were on that tour, was the pinnacle of that 70s era.

Rush was my very first concert and the very first concert to be played at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit 1980, which was the Red Wings new home It was the Permanent Waves tour, I just turned 15 y/o and when Rush came out with the rolling dry ice fog and the white carpeted stage, I thought they were Gods too, I thought they were the biggest band in the world, but after Moving Pictures, fuhgeddaboudit, they undoubtably were the biggest band around!

Great song live in ‘78. Show took place the same year I was introduced to Rush by a friend’s older brother. I had just started taking drum lessons on a rented snare drum that summer and I went over to a friends house to visit his brother and, he asked me to come into his room to hear the album and I heard Hemispheres “ Circumstances “ when I was 10 and I was blown away. That rented snare drum was returned to the music store and I quickly graduated into drum set lessons by learning how to read music. Rush was the integral part of my influences from that day forward. They are so great live. Neil will be missed. Thanks for the recording. 1978 will be a year in my youth of desiring to be a professional drummer and because of Rush, it happened. Thanks again!

I think RUSH changed the way I listened to and ultimately heard music. Taught me to listen to the details and the nuances. I'm not a musician but I almost find something new every time I listen to their music which keeps it forever new. I'd like to think that's the way they intended it.....

As a musician, a guitarist, this taught me the exact same thing as far as listening into enjoying the nuances of drumming and bass guitar. Beer cheers to you and the mighty Rush. (It sure came in handy when I was asked to play bass guitar for a gigging band for a year.)

The first time I saw rush was their a farewell to kings tour. It was in Seattle, they played a 3 hour set which included most of 2112 album and a lot of early stuff. Bytor , working man, finding my way, lake side park. Come to think about it it was almost the all the worlds a stage album. Now the hemispheres tour that was a great show too. I regret only seeing them twice. Those shows were epic

@@canislupis3129they were fairly popular before Moving Pictures in 1981. But Moving Pictures catapulted Rush into global superstars. Even the band admits Moving Pictures brought them into fame. They were more or less a cult band before 1981. In fact in the New York City area they were not popular enough to play Madison Square Garden before 1981.

I came up with some lyrics for Taurus.
There's a lady who shivers, all bitter and cold
and she's walking on a sidewalk of ice
when she gets to her flat she knows
that the groceries have all froze
and the eggs have all broken and scattered
      ooh ooh ooh
      ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
and she's walking on a sidewalk of ice
there's a light in the hall
but she wants to be sure
'cause you know sometimes doors have two keys
in a bando near the park
      there's a beggar who screams
sometimes just to hear his own voice
      ooh it makes me remember
      ooh it makes me remember

      There's a peeling of paint
as i look through the window
and the children are crying from hunger
in a box there are beans
      roaches crawl through them things
      and the sink drips constantly
      ooh it makes me remember
ooh it really makes me remember

Bit of a shakey vocal performance by geddy. Very pitchy but he was so often in the 70s. They played so many shows every year and it took effort to sing the way he did on albums so he did phone it in a lot live back in those days. You can hear hes holding back and just kinda trying to get through the song.

Как концерт вышел студийный, с пластинки ,так его и надо играть везде и всегда,иначе черт знает что, бред, все в разнобой а не музыка, какая-то чушь.Удачно и феноменально это сделали за всю историю только 2 группы - GRAND FUNK RR 1975 2 LP CAUGHT IN THE ACT и Judas Priest 1979 UNLEASHED IN THE EAST.
