I'd not read this story by Dickens before. Not only was it an engrossing story, the narration was brilliant. Thank you for making this available.
You’re very welcome, Laura. So glad you enjoyed!
I had to listen to this twice; such a compassionate and bittersweet story. Thank you from your newest fan!
Oh that’s lovely. I was so surprised by this story. Far from a run of the mill horror tale ❤️
I can’t believe this was actually Charles Dickens and I had never heard it! I always listen at least twice, but I leave some time in between, you always hear details that you didn’t the first time and your imagination can fill in more every time in the way that when you listen to a spiritual book, you go deeper and deeper into the understanding of it every time! Apparently the conscious mind only takes in 20% of something on the first viewing/listening so I listen and watch my favourite works several time’s and then when you have sufficiently forgotten a book, one you love, it is the most satisfying thing in the world to revisit them!
Sorry, that was longer than I intended! Blessings galore from London! 🙏
