    Congratulations on the courtesy in traffic, it makes all the difference. The bike's sound is magnificent, full-bodied without exaggeration. Hug

    What a beautiful example of a 1200 Bandit. A few years ago i had the Mk1 1200 Bandit in Black. And i'm not usually a fan of the sit up style ride, i prefer the sport or superbike drop handlebars & lay on the tank. My previous bike was a FZR 1000. But DAMN i loved the ride, the riding position, and the Torque was amazing. Didn't need to change down like on my Yamaha, it pulled in every gear. It also wheelied (without slipping the clutch) in 1 - 4, it was only fifth that needed a little touch on the clutch. Not that i did wheelies much. But my FZR 1000 wouldn't do that, it needed clutch for all except 1st & 2nd, sometimes 3rd, if you had the Revs right. But i now am converted to the 'Sit up style' especially as i'm now in my 50's.

    As an owner of a k8 650, I am supremely jealous. Genuinely, the Mk1 b12 is my dream bike. I adore the shape of the tank, it looks MEAN with twin headlights, and while it may not be very fast, I've heard it has excellent usable torque anywhere from 2-6k rpm, and with the long gearing of the 5 speed, it's perfect for urban travel but also perfect for motorways. It's the best of both worlds and in my opinion, is one of the purest, no gimmicks motorcycles out there. Nice riding as well dude, very observant.

    I’ve got a dark metallic green MK1 1200 and I love this machine so much.

    Courtesy is king, nice riding, myself, I'm going to go on a bit, Banditaholics meetings, they say talk about the Bandit, get it out of your system, like that could ever happen. For always would only want kawasakis, in the 80's, they were the best. March 19 turned down a 07 CBR600RR, sight unseen, saw it, wanted it, just sold, BUMMER. Dancer, got a 2005 GSF fuel inj. 650 Bandit, one very careful, cautious owner, who basically ran it in for 15,000 miles, and it pulled up steep, steep hills, like it was falling off a cliff. Over 80mph in 2nd gear, before the red-line, plenty. In 84 my GPZ750turbo, don't think, do over 80mph 2nd gear, though about 2 seconds quicker than a Bandit 1200 S, standing quarter mile 10 with , mine did 161MPH, Favourite Kawasaki, GT750 shaft drive, workhorse of a bike, sit at a planted, sure 140mph, all day. But the acceleration of my late beloved 650 fuel inj. Bandit, more joy than the WOOOOSH, of the 750 Turbo. GT750? , Bandit? , toss of a coin, probably, if it was really healthy, fuel injected 650 Bandit. 1200, 1250, very nice, but a bit easy to ride hard, 650 Bandit, plenty, my first ride in ernest, 27 years, testing it, just riding, after midnight, dry, empty roads, I now remember as, Bandit Time. Brand new Focus ST, trying to lord it over me and my now, late Bandit, came across a PERFECT STORM in 4th gear, feit like an industrial catapult got it going, chicane, left, right, upright, could only twitch bars. Traffic lights, Focus pulls up, window down, What you've got there, is very, very SPECIAL, I said, big story is it red lines at 12,000 rpm, driver laughed, we parted. Hindsight, should have mentioned, it red lines at 12,000, and when I left the ST for parked, never went above 6,500rpm, 4th gear, touch over 90mph, 6,500rpm, red line 12,000, WHAT no, WHAT NO. A Healthy 1200, 1250 BANDIT, i"d have one in a heartbeat, but a fuel injected 650 Bandit, is wway more than enough joy. SHEET I'd love a 250 Bandit, just to get a hint of, my late beloved 650 Bandit's acceleration. I'm so over top end speeds Kawasakis'80s, all about the acceleration, therefore fuel inj. 650 Bandit, best bike ever. And I ain't even lying. Professor Bandit 650 B.T.E.out., Bandit Torque ENJOYMENT only, nothing technical. Semi retired 650 BANDITATEER, SHEET, BANDITAHOLIC, the WORST, never yearned for any of my Kawasakis, GUTTED no healthy 650 BANDIT. Healthy ZX10 NINJA, R1, possible Cure for Acute BANDITAHOLICISM.

      A true bandit enjoyer, love to see it. I'm not the video creator, but this was a pleasant read. It's a damn shame my 650 is the biggest pain in the arse ever. Every other week there's something different wrong with it, but most of the times it's just misfiring like crazy. I've practically replaced the entire ignition and fuel system at this point and that helped massively, but it's still a coin toss on whether it wants to run on all 4 cylinders or not. When it's warm and dry, she sings and pulls like a freight train, but the moment it starts raining she hates and wants to throw you off with all the surging. Not good, but it's my only mode of transport so like, I know I'm doing damage to her riding in those conditions but I can't solve the issue, the multiple mechanics I've taken it to are completely stumped... My bandit is cursed.

      Hey. I got it with 71k on the clock, run it till 79k and then input shaft snapped in half one day damaging crank case in the process also. I replaced whole engine and managed to get one with 15k miles only. So, old bike with pretty much new heart now.

    • @MariuszZaleski13
      @MariuszZaleski13  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi bud. Bandits are quite simple in terms of tech as they are quite old bikes. It makes them easier to repair and maintain. Although carbs and dealing with them is not that easy, at least for me. They're quite complex and need precision. It's possible to learn how to clean them i.e. from youtube. There is lot's of videos showing how to do it. All the best.
