Lol it's not if it's when lol....but this is a 97-99 block which has the updated thrust bearings and helps it not likely crank walk(still possible). The 95-96 we're the problem childs :)

when i switched to br8es, they fouled pretty quick and ruined my weekend at the track lol...the car has been on bpr7es for years and i should have never changed. trying out the br7es for a few months
It's nice to see how you make mistakes. It adds to the struggle wich creates more drama and that's good for the channel. I think we talk about bringing spare parts to the drag strip (like spark plugs lol). That was a Civic not a CRX. The map sensor is crucial after certain amount of mods. I think with more boost comes more responsibility... In this case more parts lol. I think probably the waist gate and the bov are not helping you make more boost. Sometimes the simple solutions are the right ones. This Eclipse is looking more and more sick every upload. I just love the channel bro. You are doing a phenomenal job!!
noice glad you found the issue. my car makes 867whp i run 8es plugs but i have a m&w cdi and 300m coils not sure if that makes diff.............. are you pushing your gates open or bov pushing open...... also are you using a mac boost controller if so try swaping it out for a hallmen to test that out ive had 2 mac valve fail

You need a co2 kit on the wastegate
Yes, been experiencing wastegate opening..so rewired the lines to apply pressure on the top hat.

I have yet to test out a hallman..think i might do this. I did this with the evo x after having some boost issues with the solenoid. good idea

Did you match the plug gap when you put the new plugs in?
sure did. .018. Wish i could run higher gap..i think it would help with fouling out the spark plugs

What is your wastegate spring pressure at? I have about 21 psi spring pressure at the gate and can make 41/42 psi with only 40-45% WG duty cycle.
in the beginning they were 26 lb springs...4 years later when tested, there now at 19 lb springs..
@@Gabe_Ortega hmm, you should still be able to easily double the boost pressure. You are using both ports on the WG from the EBC correct?
