@@TravisG001 a single mechanical would do the job. And I looked at a few as well. But the surge tank intakes just made more sense for me. Just a little more wiring which I enjoy....sometimes lol
@@Gabe_Ortega I'm looking to do a surge tank aswell with a single variable brushess pump. Definitely not going with a mechanical setup for sure. Way too many people are ditching their mechanical pump on their street cars. Just not worth the hassle. I think your current choice is still better for a street and strip setup. My dog box almost done i didnt opt for the 300m mod id need another 4 k in dss shafts and axle. It got too expensive il ne happy at 550hp and no launches lol
@@Gabe_Ortega lol facts there is too many fast dsm all drag builds. These cars are too old and parts are discontued to be braking trannies and axles these days. Too much stress on em. So the ppg was my next option just to be happy and relaible at 500 hp. Im have my 99 gsx tranny built with ppg and 300m everything for the second ppg. First one for time attack and half mile runs. Second for retirement and all out drags. Lol i got time haha.
@@Gabe_Ortega had questions about the oil drain and oil feed setup you used. Going to assume -4an unrestricted feed and a -12an return. I found one Atp turbo.com that works for borg Warner s400/s500 series. Guessing all was well with turbo when you pulled it?
How much hp do you think it's running? I want to get like 650 hp out my gsx but I don't want to blow the thing up lol. Only have a shep stage 2 transmission and a built engine but more worried about the transmission and tcase won't be able to handle it.

300m and DSS Driveline. As for a shifter assy, I just got in a Fatboy Racing billet assembly. Matching that with a dog box from TRE ...
The fatboy racing shifter I been hearing some really good reviews of them

Should deff add a 4th mount to your rear diff that will help and solid drive shaft bushings
I added the 4th mount along time ago, surprising enough my welds havnt broke lol

A 600hp DSM is still a little risky. They'll last a good while around 500hp.

Im looking into them...But i found this billet shifter by Fatboy racing with lockouts for 1/2 the price. Im doing more research as of now
And thats why I dont DSM any more 😢😢 My stock HELLCAT RUNS a 10.8 and doesn’t break every other time im at the track.
My dsm has seen multiple 10.5 passes and hasn’t had any driveline issues🤷🏽♂️ I drive it to work on occasion as well lol
