First Drive 80MM TURBO Eclipse GSX Oil EVERYWHERE

We Take a Drive with our Eclipse GSX on it 1st Test Drive with its NEW 80mm Turbocharger... it Almost Caught FIRE! .... btw just got my wisdom teeth out so my words are not that.....right enjoy :D

Your oil return line looks like it's melting, too. If that's nylon braided hose for all the turbo stuff, might need some hose sheathing. I know there's steel and Teflon layers still, but... Add oil and nylon burns just fine. Wildly creative solution for getting into the Evo! I always wondered what I'd have to do if I shaved the door handles on my Eclipse and the battery died? My trunk keyhole is being wonky. But now that I'm old I'm not shaving the door handles off my Eclipse.

Your correct it's nylon, I actually have a dei heat shield wrap for the oil line and coolant line that I also forgot to install...thanks for reminding me!

Dsm is sick!! Evo does have a key or else it wouldn’t work. Take the cover off your key fob and turn it over and there is a tab to slide over to release the key.

Even though you probably don’t need it but i would definitely heat wrap the manifold it to prevent anything else from burning

The DSM pages on Facebook are a great spot to look. I would actually stay away from something extremely modified since there more of a Hassel to deal with sometimes. Keep busting butt and make some $. You got this!

There is actually another way to open the hood without the fob but unfortunately I can’t tell you cause I don’t want the method to be used in tik tok challenges! 🤷🏻‍♂️ some people just can’t keep their dirty hands to themselves!
