- In this video we set about mounting up the new to us craftsman snowblower to the LT2000, in the process we put some super clean to the test and were rather impressed with the results!

You can make a box that you can put weight into and mount it to the back plate just above the hitch the other thing I would recommend is either ATV or small truck tire chains V bar and then just size them to fit your tires that's what I did with mine works great. Good job on your videos keep them coming.
I'm with this guy, and you can wait till you have some action footage to throw into the end of the build video!

Drew, I have a similar snowblower on a John Deere LT150, anyway I fitted a pair of 4" lawnmower wheels on the front where the guides go, to provide clearance over the gravel in the drive way., Just a suggestion my friend.

May I suggest you place the sun behind the camera. Now this may be a bit tricky as the sun is hot and may burn your hands, so I recommend you use oven mitts. Remember, safety first.
Please let me know what type of snow thrower it is. Can it be found online? IS there a part number anywhere on it? I've been looking for a compatible one for my LT2000 for a while now.

What’s the model of the blower? Been looking for one but having trouble confirming the compatibility
486.248373 is the model number. These are designed to fit a wide verity of tractors. I had this one on a LT2000 and a GT5000 you just have to get the correct mounting brackets for your tractor. I’m trying to sell the one in the video if you are anywhere near upstate NY

How do you know what kind of snowblower to get. My mower is a craftsman dys 4500

If you do I would definitely recommend loading the tires and wheel weights.
Can tell you from experience way to small of a mower for it. Gonna have to weigh down the rear a lot. My garden tractor struggles with the 46 inch plow with 27hp engine and heavy 6 speed manual. With 100 lbs on the back. Guess it depends on the snow amount but I'm in Pa. Lots of snow.
Don’t underestimate the little lt2000. Back in December we got 40” of snow and it handled it like a champ!
Big difference between pushing snow with a plow and blowing with an auger!
Did you have to remove the blower brackets to reinstall the mower deck?
This is my first season with the blower so I have not yet had to switch back to the mower deck yet but I don’t believe you have to remove any of the brackets that are bolted to the tractor to switch back to the mower deck.

Remember, a fat ass is about as good as wheel weights. My future father in law has a big one for his john deere mower, sadly its barely been used because it can't handle the hill of the drive way. Has a big cub cadet 3 stage pro model but now its too heavy for him :(
