This ain't the Boba Fett they introduced in the Mandalorian... Fett literally shot Bib Fortuna in the face in The Mandalorian but in this show, he's just soft & weak.

I just see this as Disney creating fanfictions with characters like Jake Skywalker and Bango Fett. None of these characters have anything in common with the characters George Lucas created.

Hiring those "cyber punks" as his personal bodyguards really threw me off. If he hired them as his eyes and ears out in the street, feeding Boba Fett information, it would've been so much better.

I've been very forgiving of the show, but this episode definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
The speeders/cyberpunk kids were the biggest offense. Tatooine, a lawless place where people are either slaves or selling water, or junk for a living.

In episode one of the Mandalorian we get Mando cutting a guy in half with a door within the first two minutes or so. That alone made him a more ruthless bounty hunter than what we are seeing Boba Fett portrayed as. It’s also why that show really got me invested to watch. It had some edge to it without being graphic. I know I personally want to see Fett with more bite to him.

He leave the sand people alone to go collect money and the people he thinks are capable of protecting the train get wiped out by the snall biker gang who dont have bikes any more because he took them. then he just thinks he can become the new mob boss, but he doesnt do anything to protect anyone or prevent any petty crime or even keep himself protected. He sleeps in a bacta tank with no guard.

Also, the Vespa gang has to be set up to for slaughter. They're a bunch of punk kids, how are they going to stand up against actual criminals with blasters and ships who have no problem murdering people that get their way? And Boba just recruits them without seeing what they can do first? If a gang recruits new members, don't they need to know if the new guy is competent? This show is holding so much back everything feels clean and polished when tatooine and the criminal underworld should be dirty and scummy. Those vespa speeders and the riders do not seem like they belong on Tatooine, they maybe would work on coruscant or nar shadaa but they feel out of place on Tatooine.
I was pretty disappointed that Krrsantan didnt destroy at least one those cyperbunk wannabe's or one of the gamorreans, it would have been a nice call back to when Han Solo said "That's 'cause droids don't rip people's arms out of their sockets when they lose...wookies are known to do that..".

Boba is very soft in this show (kindness and gets tossed to the ground A LOT), and everyone around him does everything for him. I would have rather had a Boba Fett show of him doing bounties and stuff rather than some boring ‘’crime lord’.
Also, this Disney Boba would never commit actual crimes, he’s only going to commit robin-hood crimes where he steals from people that seemingly deserve it.
AND while I'm nitpicking - I hope theres some explanation for the watermelons buried 3ft below the sand in seemingly random spots in the desert.

There was this PS2 game called the Bounty Hunter that you play as Jango and it's a story that happens before Star Wars 2 and how Jango got to take part in the whole cloning program, not sure if it's canon but to me it is, one of the best games I ever played.

They took down so many opponents that I could see jedi get wrecked from . There is zero reason anything that went wrong went wrong . This is why canon is something I don't count as a actual thing . Because it's a excuse when you out stuff from canon to say oh that never happned .and yes that game is awesome and not canon which is why I say the use of the word canon is a excuse company's use to only make things count when convenient . If people like this show that's fine more power to them . I just don't see this show turning around its 3 episodes in and he's done almost nothing combat wise this whole 3 episodes.

I'm still hit and miss on this series. I get that Fett is on a different journey now after his near death experience post-sarlacc. But, it's getting too far from his core character when he takes lip from street punks without some sort of rebuke to correct their ways. "No disintegrations" as Vader had once said, implying that Boba didn't play around.
The vespas looked too clean and too much like team Voltron or the Power Rangers for my taste, and they moved too slowly. Lucas always made it a point to make Star Wars vehicles move very fast.
Danny Trejo bringing in a new rancor was awesome, though. However, being that this is on Disney, we'll probably never get to see it do anything but be a big puppy dog.

The tone of the series is all wrong and it's not something you can fix with a few more episodes. The overall concept is solid, but Boba should have been written more like an underworld mob boss as that's the role he's attempting to fill, not some benevolent usurper who wants to solve everybody's problems.
