Man I’m way down the rabbit hole on these outboard jet jons and looking to buy my first one. Is there a reason you don’t run a tunnel hull? I’ll be running the Brazos from PK to Granbury lake and feel like I’ll drag the foot off without a tunnel. Thanks!
I have ran almost that entire stretch. Lot of fun at 200 cfs. The tunnel drags the boat down loosing speed and lift. Good mounted jet and using trim is all I need.
I watched one of your old videos and just ordered an aluminum trailer with removable tonguefrom black river jet boats. I’ll tell them I found them because of your channel. Thanks man!!
It looks like some lessons in outboard jet hull fabrication were taken from Wooldridge Boats out of Seattle. Grant and Co. there at Wooldridge make a crazy great boat, so imitation is a great flattery! I like what JBoT are doing!
Wooldridge boy bird and bred right here. Lived in Idaho my whole life and spent a lot of that in a wooldridge. Great boats. I agree with you and I am every excited about this

The stretch on the Ouachita between Arkadelphia and Malvern is a pretty good stretch to run. Been running it for about 25 years. Gets extremely shallow in places. Down to one inch in several spots. Several tight turns and plenty of logs.
I read a comment a while back and I can’t find it. You said you had to get sand out of something in your motor. I’m having some problems when I run on red river only and I’m having trouble narrowing it down. It’s been to the shop twice and they can’t find anything wrong with it. 60/40 merc 2013.

Hi I love your videos does the 1654 mean the boat is 16’ long from tip to stern and the beam across the bottom of the boat is 54” wide?

Looks like a very beefed up panfish 16 from tracker but without stick steering.

Hey I noticed u run a lot of the 60 40 mercs how many hrs do u get out of one?
Never had one quit. 700 on one probably 450 on current motor

@Wade McDowell occasionally I have to clean the thermostat out. But on the red that usually is not a problem
