@@DennisBohannanI live in the eastern panhandle of WV. I run the shallows of the Potomac and certain parts of the Shenandoah River. I’d need every bit of that 1/4” bottom.
@bdehaven28 for sure. I ran the New River in western Virginia and in west Virginia and the James River. Those are nasty mean waters. Somehow, my .100 Blazer survived. Beautiful country though. Needs explored.
How does the jet do with vegetation that is attached to the bottom and floating on top? I run the Colorado around La Grange with a prop and looking at a jet?
Man I got a brand new 23 mercury 60 40 sitting in the basement. Picked up a boat being told it was a 16x48 but it's a 16x 42 so eventually it will get built to a x52 man these motivat me hard to get the project going
Any advise on reading water ? I’m running the James river in va with a Jon boat and a 22 long tail. Still trying to learn to read it but the rocks are so hidden !
@@DennisBohannan I really do! One day I plan to have a heavy built welded boat with a jet just have to get there ! And yeah I run the stretch in central VA. Rocks are everywhere in certain parts when it’s dry , anything you look for when you run rocky rivers ? Ripples is all I know to. Thanks for the reply !
@coltensawyer6761 I always like to say look for enough water not deep water. A lot of times the shallower water has less rock that can damage the boat.
@@DennisBohannan yeah that’s a good tip. Look for you know 5 inches of shallow clear water versus a foot deep with rocks. I always have also been told to be looking for ripples that’s correct to right ? And Dark spots. And how tough is that 100 gauge boat ? It’s similar to the thickness of a tracker grizzly and I’m looking at those on marketplace ! Eventually want one
Dude how small can ya go on those I gotta 10' flat bottom alumicraft with a 5hp 2stroke merc I'd love to swap prop for a jet drive to run shallow creeks with
Drone got some good footage of getting schooled there boooooy. Solid rig thanks for the video
Haha yup.
Your logs are my rocks!
These logs are a lot friendlier than those rocks.

Stay in current, and it's fine. Lots of jets down there. I have ran it 3 or 4 times
@@DennisBohannan Would you suggest a rock ejector?
Yes I find it very handy. Over 3 years with mine
@@DennisBohannanWhat color seadek would you recommend for a silver blazer?

Get on that.
You from Indiana? I'm just north of Evansville, only jet boat around that I know of. Run wabash, and white regularly.
I hit a rock in the same area of the black river 2 weeks ago.

I have ran that river near Buchanan and further down. Can't remember where. It's a tough river. Not much advise but be careful
You need this boat. Lol

Is it as heavy as it looks ? Compared to your old blazer ?
It weighs more, no denying that.
Nếu tôi có được nó tôi sẽ rất nâng niu . Đó là một chiếc ca nô mơ ước của tôi, hiện tại tôi đang sử dụng một chiếc thuyền nan tre cũ kỹ.
If you didnt get suction cuped first the second boat would have done the same! You just blocked the path!
O for sure.
those are nice boats but way to heavy and overpriced. checked them out in person a few years ago and we went with a different builder.
