You might want to check out these other short game videos below. Tim also teaches Moe Norman’s short game mechanics, which involve choking down on the club for more increased club head control. Doing this requires a slight drop in the hands at setup to make up for the lie angle of the club. The lower body is set 10 degrees open at address to allow the arms to clear the hips in such a short motion. Also our Short Game Alignment Trainer helps you set up for your shots by indicating ball position and feet placement for chips pitches and lob shots. We have the same type of training aid for full swings as well

I think he has his references to “margins of error” back to front. A putt has a larger margin of error than a pitch, not the other way around. In other words, you’re less likely to screw up a putt than a 30 yard pitch ….
