What about Italians? They have cheaper Chemistey, and Hand Canons are cheaper as well 20%. So for enemy 4 HC they can field 5 HC - its basicly Turkish and Burgundian bonus together.
With 1000 equal resources, they get 2 extra generic HC. I tested them with the rest and always lost. It's an ok bonus but the others are better in practice. Maybe I should have done a mention though.
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv Wierd. Theoreticaly in HC vs HC Turkish bonus doesnt matter, because with 4PA HC deals 13 DMG - for 40, or 50 HP its still 4 direct shots. Maybe scale should be larger? 1000 res is just 10 units. Higher HP will matter for missing shots, and HC miss a lot.
Kind of crazy that the Bohemians can get a unit as strong as the Hand Cannoneer in Castle Age, AND it moves faster. No wonder they're a top 10 (?) Arena civ.
I know this is weird but I feel the byzantines has been left forgotten in the game: i know they weren't the Best Civ, but, "Fire Greek" is a pretty lame tech for them.

I made an in-depth test of hand cannoneers fighting other hand cannoneers with a friend on my channel. We were testing them in small numbers (5&10) and also in big numbers (50). And we also repeated all tests at least three times. Here are the results: 1. Italians (when fighting with equal ressources 2. Hindustanis 3. Spanish 4. Turks 5. Burgundians 6. Portuguese 7. basically any generic civ
I should hire you guys😄 aside jokes, it did tested them against each other too, but it's not the main factor which hand cannoneer can destroy who, but how they do perform in general not just against each other. But thanks for taking the time to do some extra tests, more info is always better.
Hindustani handcannoneers are also incredible against siege. Regular handcannoneers do a lot of damage to siege units but with the extra range, the hindustanis outrange most siege units
@@raptorhacker599 it's situational, accuracy can hit knights more effectively, but in mass numbers generic HC can also hit effectively because accuracy doesn't matter when hitting a bulk of units. I tested it and works almost the same. More hp is always great no matter the situation.

They are top 10 because of the Hussite Wagon rush. Hand Canonners are sadly very weak.
Love playing as the Burgundians for many reasons but the HC’s are just god-like with that 25% damage boost

Well I wasn't far off but I would rate the 5th place better than Turks because more accurate HC is better than 20% more HP for me.
