No matter how many times I watch this touching footage, I get choked up & emotional...I can't imagine Life without the beauty & wonder of nature.........Thank You for sharing...
What a great little video! It brought back some pretty wonderful memories for me too...along with a rogue tear! :) I brought home my baby Moluccan when he was 7 weeks old, so I was blessed with the sleepless nights, round the clock feedings, and wonder of life with a baby cockatoo. I have never looked back! He is my best friend, and the very best part of me. On February 27th, 2016 that will have been 25 years ago...and though he doesn't look like a baby anymore, he's still my baby, and exceptionally gorgeous - he looks exactly like the full grown Moluccans in the video. Thank you!
What a awesome video, it brought tears to my eyes. I just put my Cockatoo to bed. She is such an amazing, loving bird. She is my buddy, Im just in awwwe of her, I am teaching her colors at this time.... She is 6 years old. I adopted her from a loving home who could no longer have her due to the adoption of children. Thank you for this video..... and thank you for your love and BIG heart for animals..... BIG HUGS to you and your feathered friends
I miss this time in my life so much. It was some of my most memorable and highlighted moments in my life thus far, and I can never relive it or get that time back. 💔
My interests are all over the place. I adore animals especially parrots, but I'm a picky gamer and a lot of other things. But yes we are quiet rare gems to find :D Also I have a Rosella and he is more of a brother, my mum is his 'mama'..... I wanted a moluccan but they are hella expensive, even the chicks

I cannot watch this without crying. My Mollucan Sam, who has been my best friend & love of my life for almost 32 years has just been diagnosed with an aggressive form of avian cancer...adenocarcinoma. How does one say goodbye to a friend who has been the center of my universe for most of my life?
Great video. I had the honor of living with birds just like that for 2 years. Great birds extremely loveable but very very loud also very needy lol they love attention.
Who else wanted to help the little one get that she'll off it , I had to watch it my love birds just hatched 2 babies like 12 days ago , they are just to cute ! 🐣
I raised a baby Seram salmon crested girl from age 8 weeks in 1991. She feathered beautifully. Her name is Serengetti Peepster Tumbao Also known as Little One. I took her hiking in the woods for an hour every week. She sat with me in my rocking chair as i smoked a long stem pipe, bird in one hand pipe in another. She took showers with me, and would complain if i took one without her... There is no experience like the bonding of a baby Cockatoo, especially Salmon Crested. Take good care of yours and groom the people ready to inherit yours when you pass on... they live at least 80 years when loved properly. But yours in your living Trust NOW.
+Ambiguity- Beak How do you know those are the parents? The egg seemed to come in the mail, remember? This looks like a parrot sanctuary, so the adult parrots could very well have not been the parrots. The fact that the egg was wrapped in in a shipping crate sort of suggests they weren't.
Wow, they can really cram into that shell! He seemed HUGE compared to the size of the egg. At first when I watched it I was like "maybe it's a cockatiel.. OH NO ITS NOT!" haha
omg you are awesome person ! i almost cried hope your parrot is good now. I have a budgie it is almost 1 year old her name is Cici. Wish you all the best !
I have a 14 yr. moluccan since she was 2 mon old-still hand feeding babyfood with a curved spoon. A wonderful affectionate bird. her's is a forever home but I'm 75. am looking for the right person to take over for me when I can no longer--it's tough. I love her as I would a child that never grows up. Carolyn G.

Nice to meet you😊 I love salmon-crested beetles✨ It ’s a bird that I want to make a family someday.😍💕 I'm glad to see it from the time Oobatan was born I was impressed💕❤️
Why couldn't the parents sit on the egg and hatch it and did they know the baby was theirs after such a long absence away? In the wild they would have rejected it wouldn't they? Just asking?
It baffles me to see people making comments about God and miracles when this is the most concrete proof of the existence of dinosaurs and evolution possible.
Carrie Wagner to me things like Jesus and Noah arc are are stories for children . If you could even build a boat big enough for every animal on earth . Now they would be breading with their brothers and sisters
+mrtodd3620 most birds yes, they imprint on you, you are their mother, they will stay with you for life and it will be _very_ hard for you to rehome them, so if you must, do it with family or someone the bird will also know from the days it was young
the heartbeat made me cry. just the thought that there was a tiny life in there
Look at the baby's parents!! So happy!!
"Honey, just look at our sweet child!"
Kooo9
This made me cry it's so beautiful. I love cockatoos so much. I think they are the best funniest and most loveable birds in the whole world
I love how the parents are so happy and like " LOOK WHAT WE CREATED!"
DaCoolestGirlOnDaBlock LOL cutest thing ever
there is no evidence to think that they know their own offspring because they laid the egg. Ever heard of a cuckoo?
No matter how many times I watch this touching footage, I get choked up & emotional...I can't imagine Life without the beauty & wonder of nature.........Thank You for sharing...

Hyperfoxeye pathetic, immature loser. Get a life.
Kelly Deal i am 10 though
I honestly liked the song. I dont know why people are complaining. Just enjoy the video for god's sake.
Aakanksha J I was thinking the same thing. Some people simply just like to complain about everything.
it's kind of distracting from the video??
Aakanksha J the original is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
I never seen a baby Moluccan before. It's so cute.
Beautiful! I came here to see how Maxwell was probably born. Very touching and sweet. 💕
Oh this is the sweetest video, brings tears to my eyes. I have 3 cockatoos and love them with a passion. Parrots are amazing animals.

The end :'( suck a beautiful video . How the parents are happy to see their baby .. 💜

This was an awesome video. And the coldplay cover song was better than the original.

+Pippi Longstocking
They might not be related to the baby by blood, but they can still be called parents by adoption.
Ambiguity- Beak Why not be called big brothers or sisters then?
+Pippi Longstocking
that's also a good way of describing them.
Ambiguity- Beak :)
What a cutie! You'r so lucky to have him/her!
Wow, they can really cram into that shell! He seemed HUGE compared to the size of the egg. At first when I watched it I was like "maybe it's a cockatiel.. OH NO ITS NOT!" haha

youre an awesome person
Some pretty birds

Come on little one! Push! Push! Come on!
Now I'm curious as to what a bird feels like when it's only just beginning to grow feathers. Looks like it's covered in spikes like a porcupine.
+Brandon Gould lol I was thinking Sonic the hedgehog got nothin on this gorgeous boy!
Brandon Gould Feather roots are quite hard and spiky feeling. I've always wondered what it would feel like to pet a baby bird covered with them.
...and you will know us by the Trail of Dead I'm not a vet, so I might be incorrect, but maybe some exfoliation would work?
Brandon Gould , it is not spiky to the touch as it is only baby soft feathers .
shepopop It is the same hardness as fingernails because it is protected by a keratin case
well now i know how my bird was as a baby . i have a mulican cockatoo and he is so cute
So beautiful!
AWWWW I have a 10 month old cockatiel who loves to sing
3:47 look at the baby's face he's like "ARE THOSE MY PARENTS?"
love this!
Not enough volume, pls raise
TTOSWE lol good one
+TTOSWE Agreed, additionally, the song isn't terrible enough. please find a worse song.
dude you are so funny :)
🤣
What's the name of the music and that was beautiful I was fine to cry
BEAUTIFUL!
I just hope this wonderfull bird know what fly is ..
Seram sweet 💜 heart ❤️
Amazing!!!
When you raise a bird from an egg, are they ultra-bonded to you?
