I had an esky with wheels 🛞 handle and 2 rod holders bolted on ,so versatile, lid had chopping block and knife 🔪 and scaler etc ❤❤❤ held food drinks bait plus extra tackle 😀 😊
Another great vid👍🏽it’s good to see blue skies somewhere because it has been crap up our way. I love beach fishing especially flicking lures, keep ‘em coming Josh. 🍺👍🏽
Mate your videography is brilliant. Nice work. Really enjoyed watching your vid. What a great idea as well.. also brave idea.. surface lures at the beach.. even with waves breaking.. and you made it happen as well.. Good on you brother fisho. Keep the magic happening. ❤
Above and beyond full body release in that cold water with bonus barrel footage big effort . I am about 3hrs down south from you and the water down here has been very cool.
G'day Josh , good job mate, another beauty, for all us right hand fiishos... Swap reel handle to left hand retrieve ,,,right hand for rod control,,,, will feel weird & wonky as at first... The best fishing tip I ever got 👍 might be worth a try😀
You are the best TH-camr and you make such inspirational content and the lures that you recommend have caught my my biggest flathead so thanks. Keep up the god work mate.
love your vids mate I love the content that you post and I've bin fishing a lot more and thanks to your tips I've bin catching a lot more fish, keep it up.
Absolutely one of the most entertaining videos I have seen from you…..the underwater release and the rolling shore break was fantastic. Josh, your fishing knows no boundaries. I occasionally use lures from the beach in Victoria as this style is becoming a lot more popular with anglers down this way although bait fishing tends not to impact on my “aged “ body as much…LOL. Keep up the great productions Josh and I look forward to viewing your next one.
that hook up shot at the start was amazing ...awesome vid man.. i just started youtube. from the Capricorn coast Queensland..i need practice with the lures...after watchin this..
Hey josh. Usually I use bait when fishing off the beach because it gets all the sand flatties and whiting. At low tide we pump yabbies with my mates from school. Loving the vids. See you in the next one!
That’s sick man. This video was going to be salmon and flatties. But ended up just slaying the sambos and tailor. Will do a beach flatty vid veryy shortly
I catch tailer all the way in NY but we call them bluefish or snapper. Fun fight but they will hit absolutely everything that moves and will destroy any soft plastic setup out here. PB is 35in and it was a MONSTER. Good on ya.
@@joshdfishing I’ve just never really thought about doing it because it seems like a hassle to get the lure out past the surf, can you give me any tips
Great video mate! Killing it with the editing! If you’re in the market for a new beach spinning/shore jigging combo, I highly recommend getting the Daiwa Overthere 109mh rod paired with the Certate LT 5000D-XH Ark and PE2.5 12-braid line, it’s perfect for the job and even for rock fishing too! If you’re looking for a lighter setup, I use the Daiwa Overthere 109ml/m rod paired the Certate LT 3000-CXH and PE1 22lb 12-braid line. It works great for beaches, estuaries/bays and even for light rock shore jigging! I use it in my videos, love the combo!
Hey josh! Great video again! I just got back to my first fishing session back after the broken finger today and had a cracker session! Keep up the amazing work and you’ll go places!
As for losing fish. Add a swivel between the lure and the treble hooks. They can't get leverage to throw it off. Kind of a secret here in the US for bass fisherman. I fish freshwater. Never tried salt. Salt is way too far away. Already got well over $10k into fishing lol. 2 boats and lots of gear(but not enough🤣).
Ah thats good to know i didnt even think of that hey couple of split rings and a swivel hey i can see why its a trade secret i always been told its build perfect dont mess with it if its not broken but hey more fish brings more smiles
Cool video……if your chasing a light surf casting outfit consider the Vanford 5000 (4000 has low gear ratio) and Daiwa Over There (109ML/M)……I run 16lb Siglon.
Hey Josh! Great vid mate. You sold yourself short with the 80m cast estimate, well over 100m for sure. You even got the guns out for the vid and a water release to top it off 👌 💪 👍 . Nice work bud 🍻
Embarrassing release? What was Embarrassing about it? I never seen a release like that you swam the fish out. Was pretty cool seeing the fish chilling at the bottom. And those wave shots were great. 👍👍👊👊
Hey Josh! I know I'm a little late to the video... But I was just wondering what song you used in the intro? Greatly appreciated mate, insane videos! 😎💪🏻
I know this is an old vid but I've just put together my new beach spinning outfit. Daiwa 23 seajigger 1002ml 4-8kg, daiwa certate 5000d-xh lt spooled with PE2 (37lb) varvias premium. How do you rate your seajigger?
Hey Josh nice video! Love the channel!! New to fishing (your channel made me get out and give it a go), I fish a beach near my house on mid east coast. I have a reel that says 1000, and I use my fathers collapsible rod that is like 10 feet but collapses in on itself to like 2ft long. And I have 10pound leader and 10 pound braid. I catch a lot of bream and got my first salmon the other day 68cm but took a long time to get it in (2 metallica songs so at least 10 minutes). Going to buy my first rod, any suggestions? Basically only beach fish, or the break wall at the end. Thanks in advance!
I’m still chasing a salmon over 56. Pretty sure that’s my pb. And there is heaps of good rods out there that will do the job. I suggest going to your local tackle shop and telling them your budget. And exactly what you want to be using it for. They will sort you out👌🏼
Its a good day when Josh uploads
Ohh stop it you☺️
Sure is
It sure is
Lol

Ooooyyyy you got a permit for them guns? 🤪
Top vid mate, what type of sunnies do you have? I need to get me a decent pair
Makos in the green lens
Great video Josh! Couple of questions why do you keep your rod low when you're hooked up and how do you tell where a gutter is?
Good videos mate. You're in northern NSW right? How come you never chase Kings?
Nah I’m under mid nsw. And have chased kings before. Got busted off to 3 big ones this season and that was it. Gotta wait till left summer now
You surf ay, sick vid bro, keep it up
Used to boog and filming barrels when I was around 14. Not as good as old times haha
@@joshdfishing oh sick, still getting the shot haha

Can I ask what type of tackle box that was for your 40 gram lures. Thank you. Great video.
Just a food container from coles haha
Noice vid as usual
If you’re interested in casting distance, I have the same certate. Every revolution is roughly 1.1m.
I know this is an old vid but I've just put together my new beach spinning outfit. Daiwa 23 seajigger 1002ml 4-8kg, daiwa certate 5000d-xh lt spooled with PE2 (37lb) varvias premium. How do you rate your seajigger?
probably my fav vid of yours but tbh love all your videos on here. May I ask what beach U was at?
Love the new video and the sick edits maybe some time u should try and go for some big jewfish
More beach videos josh🙏🙏
Got it chief
Love the vids
Standard trebles are notorious for getting spat out. Switch it to a single hook setup and it should improve.
Or add a swivel i just saw a guy comment about it for bass fishing i guess it will work
Yo I’ll come out to visit you that’s how
Much I like be you best videos love them
Gonna need another catch and cook soon
Not a fan of them tbh but everyone wants to see one haha
plz do a Q&A

Could you give the savage gear 3D 4play herring swim bait it’d be cool to see you snag a flatty with it
Awesome to see you blowing up mate
hey man greetings from sunny Queensland , excellent vid this one ,, do not dig the hair colouring tho ,,cheers
Mate, wasn't it absolutely FREEZING in the water?!
