A 6-Person Team Couldn't Finish This Famous 3kg Thai Chicken Rice Challenge in Bangkok, Thailand!!

- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Sri Leung Pochana's 3kg Thai Steamed Chicken Rice Challenge hosted by ศรีเหลืองโภชนา สะพานควาย-ข้าวมันไก่ไจแอนท์ located in the Phaya Thai neighborhood of Bangkok, Thailand in Southeast Asia!! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I left Singapore and flew to Phuket, Thailand for a short vacation to take a few days off from doing restaurant food challenges. Then we flew north up to Bangkok, Thailand where I attempted 2 delicious Thai competitive eating challenges. For final Thai food challenge #2, we traveled over to ศรีเหลืองโภชนา สะพานควาย-ข้าวมันไก่ไจแอนท์ (English translation is Sri Leung Pochana) located along Saliratthawiphak Rd in the Phaya Thai area of Bangkok, Thailand. There, we each attempted Sri Leung Pochana's delicious and famous 3kg Thai Steamed Chicken Rice Challenge (Bangkok's biggest) which has been available for more than 10 years now (1 decade). Thousands of people have tried the challenge, and even 6-person teams have failed to finish everything within the 1-hour time limit. There had been 38 previous food challenge winners. Within the 1-hour time limit, I had to finish over 2kg of Thai rice topped with 1kg of steamed chicken meat. There was both dark meat (chicken thighs) and white meat (chicken breast). The sliced cucumbers, extra sauce, congealed chicken blood, Thai milk tea, and chicken broth soup with gourd were all optional. I didn't have to finish those, but still tried to so I could leave no doubt!! I was trying to win my ฿650 Thai Baht Thai chicken rice platter free plus a spot on the Wall of Fame. This "Kao Mun Kai" restaurant was famous in "Krung tep maha nakon". Nat vs food channel TH-cam ate that record you can see all he was eating many times in this restaurant. I ate this size but with my family 2-3 times when you eat it not so hard, it was easy eating food but not fast like Nat.

I really enjoyed both Phuket and Bangkok.
I would've given the rice a little dip in the soup to give some moisture to it...I know it was optional but would've helped the rice go down faster!

Awesome video Randy. We have both roasted and steamed versions of chicken rice in Singapore. You can normally choose. I have only had Thai chicken rice once, and it has a more tangy taste than Singapore chicken rice.

Randyyyy! Now, here's a challenge I can sink my teeth into! That ALL looks absolutely delicious. I'd eat the heck out of that spicy gravy/dressing. I love chicken thighs and rice. My wife (Dee) says I lived somewhere in Asia in another life😆. That soup looks good but you haven't had soup until you've had fish head soup(Okinawa). Congratulations on ANOTHER "W!" On to the next!

It was short lived, in Cambodia. After this video, I was sick for 2 weeks. I did the best I could during the Cambodia challenge and unfortunately had to cancel the 2nd one.
I love chicken thigh but this looked so bland. I would have asked for some sauces. Good win all the same, Randy.

my family is from a third world country... don't drink the beer, it is a lot stronger then american beer because american beer is mixed with water... hahaha... thats funny.... you guys should do one challenge a week and enjoy your vacation... you dont even need to do challenges.. go enjoy the street food and make a video on that.... take a break randy.. you got the world record, no one is going to touch it for a while.. make different types of videos.. doesnt have to be challenges every time...
