I tried the EdgeTX Buddy method, but my Win11 PC does not have the STM BootLoader device driver loaded. The STMCubeProgrammer app is way way too complicated to use. So I gave up trying to use the "simple method".

I needed this a week ago 😂. This will be great for the future when I need to update then. Btw: is the Yaapu script working properly for you on EdgeTX v2.10? I couldn't get it to discover any of the S.Port sensors and speaking with the receiver manufacturer they said they think the issue was down to some kind of issue in EdgeTX. I had to roll back to version 2.8 to get Yappu to discover the S.Port sensors again.
Hi love the video you make on the yx16s radio I have a question I bought a used tx16s and I didn't have a sim card is there a way to get all the folders on a new sim card or is the radio useless and can't be done
I'm a fan of not messing around with kit that's works perfectly. So, unless there are key new features you want, or have a bug, then I usually don't bother... Happy flying
Dang it just did that update, well my son helped ... even a systems analyst, had some bad moments with this , he chose to load , over USB connection ... fun but he got it done, the throttle warning is back ...I know you made a video on that ....hum ....I'm too old for this .
Hello, I’ve my taranis X9E updated to EdgeTX but now I missed de channels 6-7-8-9-10-11-12 in the helicopter setup. I mean Coll.pitch source channel. Now I’ve chance this to channel 5 and did this also on the mixing page. In OpenTX it was channel 11. Copy this from a TH-cam video a few years ago. It’s a setup for a fly bar helicopter. I hope you can confirm this. Theo
@@Painless360 thank you, it’s good to know that in every model heli or plane you’ve to check everything. In my case in every model there where a few parameters missing or incorrect, mostly voltage sensor things, and for heli model as well for fbl as flybar the pitch didn’t work. Sometimes you’ve to re- choose some parameters and than it will work. So for you good luck and thanks for all your helpful videos. 🚁💨💨
my TX16S mk2 max arrived yesterday running 2.7.1 A friend told me not to download the latest version as it has to be done in stages? I have to download 2.8 before 2.10 is this correct?
All covered in the updating docs - 'Upgrading from versions of EdgeTX earlier than v2.6 (or from OpenTX) is no longer possible via the radio firmware (this does not affect Companion). You first need to update to EdgeTX 2.8 to migrate your radio and model settings, and then you can update to the current version' best of luck
I know this isn't for the Boxer but latest ETX firmware has added "Time" to the UI. But the time resets after updating time with power on. Has anyone or Painless360 run into this issue?

I did the whole flashing just with my smartphone + OTG cable. For this method actually no PC / laptop needed.

Maybe EdgeTX version 2.10.2 is too old. I'm on EdgeTX version 2.11 (compiled the codes by myself).

Sounds like a re-calibration of the sticks is needed. Best of luck!
