I recently got a DOT inspection at the commercial vehicle inspection station on I40 in Marion Arkansas. I asked one of the troopers if he knew Trooper Byrd and he said "hell yeah, Byrdman is a TH-cam celebrity". He said Byrd started racing go karts at age 7, dirt track racing at age 15 and he is an avid road course racer. If this is true, might explain why Byrd is so good behind the wheel.
There’s a few videos where other officers have moved over for Trooper Byrd to get ahead. One video there were about 9 cop cars in a line all move over for him. He is one hell of a Trooper I wouldn’t like to see in my rear view mirror

Funny thing is, by giving chase, the cop actually endangered far more loves than the speeding driver. Now, rather than 1 car cruising at 120, you have 1 car running at 120 and another chasing at 130. On top of that, the escaping driver is more likely to drive recklessly to escape, as stopping or slowing down now comes with consequences besides a few moments longer of a drive.

Now that was a slick piece of work, timed to perfection! One could be forgiven for thinking that Tpr Byrd was a successful highly experienced rally driver doing a little recreational policing by way of variety.
One more success marking on the ranking list for Trooper Byrd. 😀
Iconic trooper Byrdman, on the scene, strikes again!!!!!!
you mess with the bird and its going to be a bad day pilgrim .
great pictures at the "end"...when byrd goes round the front of his car with the torch to check for "damage"...totally ignoring the chaos in front of his car....great stuff.....
LMAO! If they don't cry for Momma, they cry for mercy.
"Hey Trooper Bryd theres a chase do you think you could just....Oh, you need a recovery truck". Top work Mr Bryd
@GHOOGLEMALE Not always; sometimes it takes him a whole two minutes...
After all the videos that have been posted on social media of the high-speed chases, you think all the people in Arkansas would have learned by now that when the ASP comes up from the rear and takes over the chase they should just pull over and stop asap or they're going to be taken out. lol.
It's always a pleasure to see Trooper Jacob Byrd in action. So adept!
Good quick job Officer Byrd.👍.I salute you Sr.!
It was like the ballet! Beautiful!
** TROOPER ** Show him some damn respect !
Here he comes to save the day, Trooper Byrd is on his way.🚓
I know the tune
That catchup was EPIC!
As the clip started we saw blue flashing in the distance and I though "It can't be them he Byrd has to catch".......But I was wrong and he did it in a few minutes. A true legend!
Wonder if Byrd got a new car? That footage was rock solid at 130mph and the car seemed to run smoothly.
Great work trooper Byrd!
He deserves a new one for sure 👍🏻
Sounds like he has the brand new Charger Pursuit with the 8 speed transmission instead the 5.
The 8 speed is a game changer.
His car is a 150 mph car. Seen it that fast in a few of his other chase videos. Actually, his car does 150+ mph
He gets a new car after every chase, they have a warehouse ready to go cause sometimes you gotta stop multiple chases in a shift…they all say Byrd on the ram bar in reverse so the perp knows what’s coming, and they govern the speed at holy crap cause his big balls keep the cruiser’s center mass low
Trooper Byrd should have his own PIT button in his cruiser so he can press it and everyone gets notified at once. 😎😎😎
ASP could raise money for new cars if they sold trading cards for the troopers.
The pit stats would be awesome.
How much would a Trooper Byrd rookie card graded PSA 10 go for?
@@PolicePursuits I'd guess in the $25k-$30k range.
Trooper Jacob Byrd, take your bow. You are a bad ass.
"Yo, bro, please dont hurt me!", sez Herschel Walker's cousin as he is fleeing down the Interstate, weaving around cars at over 100mph. Maybe the guy was fleeing from a vampire!
