Hi, my name is Salina and I live in a village in remote Alaska that shares my families last name. My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. My family owns and operates a summer resort right on the families homestead....your Alaskan vacation by Alaskans.

Hi Salina, I'm like you, I can focus better when my hands are busy. Thanks for sharing
Cross stitch or needle point is my busy work.
Thank you for taking the time to make your video's. It is refreshing to watch something that is uplifting and that you can relate too. I am in Calgary, Alberta. Looking forward to more and really also enjoy your cooking video's. Awesome job, have a great week!!!
Talk about multi tasking! What a good way to get things done.
I loved this video. I felt like I was sitting talking to my friend right across the room. I was also crocheting! Or some form of it. I am just learning. I love that you are so genuine. It sounds like you lead a wonderful life. I look forward to the next video. Take care.
You are simply precious. Really love your vlogs and videos. Thank you!
Such a sweet person!love love your vlogs! ❤
Your knitting is beautiful. You should be so proud of your knitting. It is a dwindling art form and your work is gorgeous. I love your long you tube videos so keep them coming.
Gosh....you're adorable and make us Alaskans proud.
I worked on crocheting a blanket while watching. Thank you was like sitting with a friend ❤
1st time seeing Beasley. She is beautifull. I had a miniature DACHOUND that did that. Not good. Great chat. Have a pleasant weekend.
I love story time videos. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning Salina and happy Saturday! I really enjoy your videos that show life off the road system! Keep up your awesome work!
Like you, I can focus much better when my hands are busy!
Thank you for sharing your part of Alaska. ❤
I enjoy your videos and you for sure! Love the sweater your making, you live in a breath taking place. But u know that already. ✌️
Ah, Salina...❣ What a treat this channel is. Your vids just get better and better❣ Sending loads of love from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
Thank you for taking the time to do this. My husband always has to have something in front of him to like legos, puzzles, Kiwi project kits, model cars ect….
I like the color of your sweater.
Great video! Lots of interesting stuff going on. You are very personable and engaging. ❤
Girl! Your channel has grown so fast! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️
I love tea too! Drink it every day! ❤❤❤
I use the continental method of knitting. It’s so much faster on boring plain knit or purl. Go for it. But not on existing project as it will show if you change style of knitting mid project. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks so much from Oregon! I can’t tell what stitch you use from the videos…
Loved your flight. So interesting.
❤Beasley❤ What a beautiful girl!
Sorry Ozzie(Aussie?) you are an adorable lil girl ♥️
Salina, I love your sweater!
Wow your busy!! Have a great week!!❤😊
Would love to see your lodge menu and how all that is worked out!
I loved this video! I completely understand about taking your yarn to church. It definitely controls me when i am watching yt too.
🖐 everyone
I love this! 🩵
❤ Could you please show us the worms that lives in the ice? I believe its nearly their time to start popping up to the surface to bake in the sun, it so so interesting. 😮
This is a cute video! ❤😊❤ Thank you!
Love watching your videos. Hope to someday make it to Alaska. I actually would like to do a cruise I think. Undecided. I am in southern Ohio. Cincinnati area.
Me too I would love to go where she is and visit. Maybe soon 😊
On Kodiak, back in the day (we are talking 80s) , we usually got kittens from miltary families who had pregnant animals or if they left them behind 😢
I've literally been trying to figure out your knitting technique through the whole video, haha, I do an English style flicking (but slowly). Wondering if you can share that in a future video 😊 you are very good and fast at it btw beautiful work :)
Luv this format-
Great🎉
I loved listening to you
I have an issue with sitting still and focusing on one thing only. Ideally, my brain needs to be doing 3 things at the same time in order to be happy! 🤷♀️
Hey sending love from Philly
This was fun. Ty. 🎉🎉
❤
I love your videos and I have been a silent watcher for about a year or two I believe now! I’m going to send you something! I love that we can send you stuff or letters!!!?
I would love to hear about your faith journey ❤
Enjoyed your story time, can’t wait to see the end of your sweater 😊.
At 1 point I had 2 female cats at the same time unfortunately they did not get a long SMH 🤦♀️ I got 1 from the shelter & 1 from a person that needed to rehome kittens.
In the future I’ll probably have cats again but never just 2 females unless they’re related.
1000x 👍🕊🐑
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Yes, let’s have Jared join the conversation.
Take care.

Hello 👋 from Arkansas 😊
I tried to re pick up crocheting back over the winter. I am doing basic stitches and being challenged at that . Have you ever considered doing online lessons classes?
I accidentally locked my cat out half the night. I figured it out after a few hours and went to the door. She was on the bench on the carport. She walked in and talked to me. She was not happy. She actually hit me and walked away.
😂😂😂
I don't see your address listed. Please post so I can send a little package to you. Love your videos!
Updated!! Thank you ❤
The address isn't anywhere 😢
Are there Bed and Breakfasts in your village or neighboring villages? It sounds like a wonderful place to visit away from the city. (I live in SE Wisconsin, near Milwaukee)
Have you heard of any of the ghost stories in the bioks.
when resort is open besides coffee spot do you cook or bake what else do u do
Odd that you have uninsulated rooms living in Alaska.
❤🎉🙏🏻
Jared (hopefully I spelled it right) aka Mr moderator, let Salina know people only try to bring people down who are already above them
What city in Michigan is Jared from? I live in Essexville, which is on the far east side of Bay City.
How is Electricity generated at your village?
I'm not seeing the address am I looking wrong? ❤
It’s updated!!
Salina, I think you forgot to post your address or people are having trouble finding it. Enjoyed the video!
Oh my gosh I totally did. It’s updated now!!
that answered that lol
why not put an electric fan behind or above stove to circulate the warm air
Do people come to your resort just to relax and unwind or is it all hunting? What don’t you do Salina. My gosh!
I’m going to make you box of local things to me in Alabama
I don’t see your address.
I’m sorry but I can’t find the link to your address.
Me either.
I forgot to add it in, another busy day and it completely spaced 😂 updated now!
Got it! Thank you Salina 😍
Have you been able to get your girls spayed? Just a good idea. They may never get outside but trust me, you'll all be happier.
Don’t see your address
The fisheries job in Port Alsworth this summer requires a Graduate level education. They got to be kidding me!
I am sure they have their reasons. With being their business that they put a LOT of time and money into I see nothing wrong with having standards/rules if they so please. Like I said, often these requirements are put in effect for a reason.
@@kristiphillips7783 Lmao. I was referring to the National Park service.
@@N238E The only jobs I've ever heard of with the Department of Interior (NPS, BLM, etc...) that don't require a degree are the seasonal jobs.. 🌲🐻
@@bearpawz_ this is a career seasonal appointment.
Does Jared miss Michigan? As a fellow Michigander I would miss certain foods.
🤔 What food is available in Michigan that isn't available up here?
@@bearpawz_ Vernon ginger ale, kogel hotdogs, better made chips, Fygo pop
@@josephbarr9751 .. We have Vernor's up here (I'm in Anchorage).. If you ever make it up here, try one of the Alaska reindeer dogs sold in every store, but especially good at the stands downtown in the summer! 😋 One thing I'd say Michigan has that is better than Alaska is... 🏒🥅 hockey! 🤗
@@bearpawz_ I would love to visit Alaska. It is on my bucket list.
@@josephbarr9751 🤗 Yay!
Address please.😊
Oh my goodness I forgot to add it! It’s updated now!!
