But if they are actually missed by a large amount of people, I'll see how I might be able to reimplement them in a more interesting way. Gaijin where is my MiG-33 or MiG-35 I want Super Fulcrums PLEASE
Su-27sm new blue flamed engines got the same power.... as the old ones were supposed to have (12520kgs). New ones should have had 13600kgs each. Even more so, every single russian engine at top tier has reduced power Anyway despite having higher thrust to weight ratio already, flanker still somehow slower than the strike eagle (1.25 vs 1.15)
If the snail allows it, I'd love to see the MiG-29M 9.15, the MiG-29S 9.13S, the MiG-29K and MiG-35 for the fulcrum series. As for the Flanker, my picks would be the Su-27KUB/33UB, the Su-30SM/SM2, the Su-27M and the Su-35 along with the Su-37. Some of these jets could be foldered with one -another, which would be nice, and would allow for a more unique and diverse T.T. experience. I guess the Su-27SM3 or the MiG-29SM could be added but I wouldn't really see a point in it. The MiG-29 9.18 would be a nice modification for the SMT in the game, as it would get rid of the hunchback and thus increase agility and speed, along with aesthetics, of course ;)

The su27 has the correct flight model. There are multiple posts on reddit where people show that the su-27 has the correct flight model. The main issue is that the instructor doesn't work the best with Russian aircraft. The mig-29 nerf happened the other way. First the f-16 only had fox-2s and the mig-29 had radar missiles, but then Gaijin added the f-16 adf with radar missiles and in order to compensate, gaijin gave the mig 29 R-27ERs, which made it the best aircraft at both bvr and acm, so gaijin nerfed the flight model and turned it into a missile bus.
@@MrRobschniederoh i taught you mean for air rb only my bad, but I understand the importance of multipathing and merging in sim battles I also play top tier sim with vr, and from my experience, missiles like the r77 or mica often connect when launched at high altitude with a hard or soft lock on the enemy, especially when fired at a steep angle. That said, notching the missile and using chaff can sometimes help avoid it.I typically get around 5 to 12 kills with the su27s and su27sm, maintaining a k/d ratio of 67% and 60%, with over 1400 and 1000 kills, respectively. su27sm is bad but the j11a is worse. its literally just a regular su27 at 13.7 with a extra MAW, which in most case is useless because of how many missiles are coming so you dont know if its coming for you or your ally. also can carry 10 instead of 12
Gaijin should give the MiG-29 a R-73 modification. Also, the loadout for the Yak-141 is completely fake, it only test carried the R-73 and R-77. The loadouts these aircraft have in game were fine when they were added, but Gaijin needs to go back and look at some of the aircraft they charged beyond.
7:23 The reason I think they can't change it is because if there is desync between the server and your computer, it can cause the missiles to do wonky stuff such as causing the speed to randomly spike and drop, especially now with the NA servers on life support
I keep getting an uncommanded left turn. Is that server issues or controller drift? My joysticks seem good, but the controller is going on 7 years old now.
@@joshuamueller3206 What kind of missile are you using that's turning left like that? Most missiles for air-to-air are guided by themselves/with a radar lock, so those would be bugged because of the server. Only early air-to-ground missiles, the AA-20 Nord, and the Starstreak are manually guided (also the Kh-66 technically, but that's SACLOS and already has other bugs that aren't entirely due to server desync).
@@joshuamueller3206 OH. That makes more sense. If you're flying with full-real controls turned on, then you probably just need to adjust the plane's rudder or aileron trims. If you're flying with mouse-aim or simplified, then it probably is controller drift, and the best way to check would be to boot up a first-person or third-person shooter, turn off aim assist, up your sensitivity to feel as close to what you have it on in WT, and then do a few inputs before letting the stick come to rest, and seeing if the game continues to register inputs.
Multipathing is dead and unreliable, notching is far more effective, and at least I don't get crew locked when I mess it up. Also what's your source on R-77 not being modeled correctly?
i really love the Mig 29 its my favorite modern day fighter out of any other fighter, i just wish it was better and gave it that good performance to keep up with the western aircrafts. Sadly it doesn't and hope it gets changed because it doesn't fell any good since the radar is really good but, its fox 3 just doesn't hold up and needs to be fixed plus the model it as well. I really see the Fulcrum as a completive aircraft against other countries, but it doesn't sadly.
As an American I never looked down at Russian planes. I've always considered them as good as American fighters in different ways. American fighters good at X, Russian fighters good at Y, etc. This is until 5th generation jet fighters, I think Russia could do some improving to the Su-57. Right now it is not on par with F-22 or F-35 in terms of stealth.
It's the same button that changes your scan pattern in SRC. I dont remember the name of the keybind, sorry, but you'll find it in all of the other radar controls.
@KauppaKomissaari Why are you acting like I didn't know that? Also, I don't even think the MiG-29s needed the FM nerf, just reverting back to the R-27Rs or forcing the 29 to carry one ER at max would've been enough if Gaijin didn't think it was a good idea to put in the R-73. Plus, it wasn't even that hard to deal with the ERs back then because they couldn't be spammed as much as what late F-4s and F-14s could put out, and multipathing was way easier.
The R-27ER is better than the R-77 in flight performance no matter what. My rant is about how Gaijin made the R-77 abysmal at the one thing it was explicitly designed to be good at (supersonic drag) because they couldn't figure out how to give it a different drag value at transonic speeds where grid fins are significantly worse.
Issue is that despite the r-27 performing better than the r-77 in range irl doesn’t change the horribly inaccurate drag modeling of the missile in game. This has been a issue Brought up numerously, however the r-77 has drag that essentially works like a curve, and with the way it’s modeled it has a static drag number at the peak of the curve. Which happens to give it significant performance issues as a result.
It's hard to think any real Russian pilot IRL would prefer the R-27ER because it is an extremely unreliable missile. The R-27 missile has around a 10% hit rate, so it is functionally useless. This hit rate isn't a surprise because its the same the United States had in Vietnam with early versions of the Sparrow missile. It was only through active combat that the United States was able to refine the Sparrow into a worthwhile missile, and the Soviet Union (and by extension Russia) never got that iteration.

Okay for any flanker its not hard to multipath, the trick is to always aim for water. Water in war thunder stops all splash damage.
I think its best to not multipath in any jets. Alot of enemy jets will not be spotted and have less field of view.
