Compared to the horrible Audi system and that of the challenged X308, this had one of the best factory navigation systems in 1999 @33:22. This is of course applied to late 1999 production only

Yeah, immediately noticed that too. Slightly nicer plastic without the 80's look. That fob design, with minor plastic changes, was used as far as I can tell 1992-2011.

@@straightpipediesel 1991 to 2011, it debuted in September 1991 on the 1992 Lincoln Continental and got added to several 1993 models the next year. Became pretty common by 1995. Very high quality plastic these remotes had, way better than the Ford remotes.
