12:12: My grandpa flew an a4 in the late fifties to 1963. He would’ve been a division leader in one of the squadrons that was going to bomb Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis, and he was the top of his class in the navy.
I would love to get some kits for my dad. He served in USAF during Vietnam. Served 20 years. He has dementia and his memory for all the airplanes he worked with is spectacular!! Seems to be the time his memory is the sharpest. Can someone get me started on how to go about purchasing a few kits he and I can do together? Sorry if it’s explained already. I have only searched Lego kits and haven’t found the exact planes he has mentioned. Thank you in advance.
oh the harriers, had to go 7000 miles, if you think that's bad look at the V-wings, the Vulcan's cockpit is cramped as hell, a crew of 5, 3 of them are facing backwards and one of those 3 crew members could be given flight control and only the pilots got ejection seats, but they could have warn food. Edit: the RAF sent of nuclear deterrent fleet of bombers to the falkens, this fleet is know are the V-wing bombers, one of the bomber airframes got refit to be air to air refueling, and yes the Vulcan had a nuclear payload but it was not using in the falkens instead they carried 21 1000lb bombs and is the only time the vulcan was used in anger, but the US if a training excise with the vulcans and in that excise the vulcans simulated nuking of America so
That WWI build is amazing, love the idea of a “last football/soccer match” is really nice tbh.
It’s based loosely off the 1914 Christmas Day truce
@@OwenDingle-y7e "I was going to say that" -anikin skywalker episode III
It was based of Christmas truce during 1914 when it was Christmas they didn’t fight basically
This guy really knows his stuff. Wonderful and knowledgeable speaker! Well done!
