This was a good project. The best part of this build were the owners. When you have the support and commitment the project steams ahead. They have won a few awards with this truck and it feels good. Thanks for tuning in. Stevo
Really enjoyed watching this genuine labor of love. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. Great music and talented editing too. You absolutely deserve the beautiful results of your labors
Thanks for the comment. It was a fun project and when you have a great owner, it is fun to go to work. I hope the next one turns out as good. Thanks. Stevo
Can’t say enough Steve , you and Kevin went over and above the steering wheel will always stay in it. Excellent job AC works awesome had it out last weekend nice and cold. You two are the best truck builders ever 👍👍.
As a Chevy guy, I wished that was my truck as well. The owner is loving it. We are still on Project Merc, our yellow 56 and it is close to being done as well. Thanks. Stevo
It looked better than I thought it would. The owner says it works awesome as well. They live in the hottest part of the Province so they need it. Thanks Jim. Stevo
Excellent build and presented at just the right pace that a beginner or amateur can have time to comprehend the steps. These very fast vids on many channels leave no time to watch a step and understand it.Well done job.Beautiful truck.Look forward to more of your work.
Thanks so much for the comment. It is one of those builds that I really enjoyed and hope to do more. It is one that I wished I could keep. Thanks. Stevo
How's she goin'? Well Stevo about all I can say is WOW!! She's a beauty!! You sure spent a lot of time and effort on this truck, but when you stand back and look at it you have to be proud of your work. It sure does look great!! Congrats. Now onto the next one eh!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
It really turned out nice, exceeded my expectations. We still have to finish the yellow Project Merc but we are almost there. They are fun projects, just wished I could get them done in a week end. Thanks Mike. Stevo
Really nice job! The one thing that surprised me was the amount of metal fabrication you did/had to do. But then again those details made it a better fit and finished truck than ever rolled off the assembly line.
Thanks. The metal work seems it never ends on these old builds. I was surprised at how poorly some of the new tins fit and the amount of work required. All worth it in the end though. Thanks again. Stevo
I think you are right about the Thunder Bird engine. I remember my brother talking about an engine that he got out of a T Bird. The truck beat our expectations and is one that I wished that I owned. Now looking for the next big project. Thanks Dave. Stevo
This project inspires me! I am working on a 1949 Ford F2 Pickup. Where did you buy the small lights that go in the tube of the bed roll? I haven't been able to locate these, but not sure I am looking for the correct items.
I am sure you can get them from LMC or Dennis Carpenter. We are having a tough time finding some of these parts now. They do look cool. Just finishing up on a 72 Ford but the 56 is still my favorite. Thanks. Stevo
Curious on what type of primer you used over bare metal and type on filler used? Doing my 56 now, just finished filling in holes and rust issues on cab.
I use a Cloverdale Dura Prime epoxy first then a couple coats of U-pol high build. When it comes to fillers, the price varies quite a bit so now I am using a filler called Featherite. Has good adhesion and sands well then I top it of with some Half Time two part putty. Hope that helps. Stevo
The only thing that is different is the 9 inch differential other than that, the suspension is stock. If you are looking to get it of the ground more, a body lift would maybe be the way to go. Thanks. Stevo
I agree. The cabs on those old Fords and Chevy's are a bit small but for the regular guy they are perfect. I just love the simple interior. Thanks Vern. Stevo
GREAT work on the '56! It turned out stunning! Thanks for posting!

@ Absolutely!
Wow! Patience and perseverance. Henry would be so proud of the truck's rebirth. Fantastic job... A work of art.
The owner has won a bunch of prizes with it and it really feels good that the effort has paid off. Thanks. Stevo
Great video, great truck from my birth year.
That makes the truck even cooler. Glad you enjoyed the video. Stevo
Just love that 56 it is a beautiful truck and a have always loved the body style I use to on one years ago I miss the old truck.
My favorite of the old Fords as well. The simplicity of them is what is so appealing. I would drive it. Thanks. Stevo
Beautiful F100 well done, from Australia 🦘
This is one of my favorite builds. It really turned out well and it will be forever appreciated by the owner, he loves it. Thanks. Stevo

Can’t say enough Steve , you and Kevin went over and above the steering wheel will always stay in it. Excellent job AC works awesome had it out last weekend nice and cold. You two are the best truck builders ever 👍👍.
When I was putting the video together, I was wondering if the AC was working yet. Awesome. Thanks Wayne. Stevo
Awesome looking Truck Thank you for the video
Thanks muchly. It turned out so nice and even I, a Chevy guy, would drive it. Stevo
Super awesome looking truck - thanks for sharing the series 👍👍
It was a long process but I got er done. Thanks so much for tuning in. Stevo
Thanks for the education it’s deeply appreciated
It was an education for me as well. Every time you do a project like this, you learn a lot. Thanks. Stevo
what a good job , thank you for sharing your knowledge
Thanks for the comment. It was a fun project but there are always more. Thanks. Stevo
Wow That is the nicest Ford pickup I have ever seen. You are an artist.
Thanks Bruce. We all have to be good at something. Now on to the next one. Stevo
I'm really wish I was the owner of that beautiful truck.
It way better than when it was new. Look forward to seeing you restore your next truck.
As a Chevy guy, I wished that was my truck as well. The owner is loving it. We are still on Project Merc, our yellow 56 and it is close to being done as well. Thanks. Stevo
It Looks So NICE🤓 The add on AC looks good how it fits the dash
It looked better than I thought it would. The owner says it works awesome as well. They live in the hottest part of the Province so they need it. Thanks Jim. Stevo

@@stevoj8959 Wouldn't that be nice eh!!!
wow great job sir
It turned out great. I might just have to do another one. Thanks. Stevo

super cool
It turned out so good I might just keep trying. Thanks. Stevo
That cab on the Ford F100 for nineteen fifty-six was classified as a million-dollar cab
I am a Chevy guy but I really do like the 56 Ford. We have a 56 Merc which was built in Canada but they are the same. Thanks for the comment. Stevo
Holy cow Stevo its really beautiful. I love the torque thrust rims. Didn't they put the 312 V8 in the mid 50s T,birds? Again super nice job my friend
I think you are right about the Thunder Bird engine. I remember my brother talking about an engine that he got out of a T Bird. The truck beat our expectations and is one that I wished that I owned. Now looking for the next big project. Thanks Dave. Stevo
@davessmallenginerevival2847, 1956 and 1957 Thunderbirds.
excelente trabalho.
Thanks for tuning in. Stevo

Looks awesome, beautiful restoration. Can we paint mine next?
I heard you have a truck you are working on, forgot what kind it is. Sounds like you have the talent to paint it yourself. Thanks Rachel. Stevo
Hey there. What part of Canada are you in? I am in southwestern Ontario.
What is the colour called?
I love it!
Everyone comments on the color. It is a Ford tungsten grey code M7. I reside in central Alberta. Thanks for the comment. Stevo

The stance on the truck is awesome. I want to get mine off the ground. What suspension did the truck have and was it lifted from stock ?
The only thing that is different is the 9 inch differential other than that, the suspension is stock. If you are looking to get it of the ground more, a body lift would maybe be the way to go. Thanks. Stevo
Where did you get the A/C Heater hookup on the firewall? I need one for my truck.
I believe the A/C came from Summit Racing. It is tight to get in there but it worked out good. Thanks. Stevo
that is a beautiful truck too bad they don't make them like that now,,,these days they are big enough to be a semi.
I agree. The cabs on those old Fords and Chevy's are a bit small but for the regular guy they are perfect. I just love the simple interior. Thanks Vern. Stevo
Beautiful Stevo, well done is it for sale😁
The owner is showing it off. Not for sale but cool in the fact that it was his first vehicle. Thanks Stevo
Quanto tempo levou a reforma?
Thanks. Stevo
Good video I love 56 Ford pick ups with the music you’re playing with it sucks.
I know you can't please everyone with the music. It is one of those trucks I wished I owned. Thanks. Stevo
Needs color somewhere
I don't disagree and when we put the badging on, it has a bit of red in them and it really popped. Thanks for tuning in. Stevo
Should have done chemical dip, alot less work and alot better job in building. Takes all down to metal and easy to work the body. Well worth the cost.
I would love to do that but we have no one around that does such a thing. It would definitely save some time. Thanks. Stevo
