Most beautiful women would be afraid to appear on the big screen looking physically unattractive, playing someone with no apparent redeeming qualities, but she embraced it all - sitting in a make-up chair three hours a day, chain smoking, wearing an ugly wig, a ratty fur coat, and an oxygen tube, with a parakeet perched on her shoulder much of the time. I, Tonya was simply one of the best films of 2017, the balance they exhibited between black comedy and drama was great but the biggest back bone for this film was it's performances 👌👌

It's interesting that in the supporting races, it actually seemed liked Willem Dafoe and Laurie Metcalf were the frontrunners. But then Sam Rockwell and Allison Janney won the Golden Globe and the momentum took off for them, which is great because they gave the better performances than Dafoe and Metcalf IMO.
