Senior Physiotherapist, Tristan Shipsides, who is based at the Hancock Prospecting Women's National Training Centre shares his best advice for Pathway athletes through to Masters rowers and everyone inbetween.

    Thankyou for your post. I am a senior rower with a herniated disc injury. My physio has been assisting my recovery. Flat lower back and relaxed curved upper back!! I have adopted pilates to support hip and pelvis flexibility. Yoga to improve thoracic mobility. Thank you for the download for warm up drills. It is obvious that on water rowing is not the be all and end all of training ! I am improving slowly and hope to return to optimum or better and a renewed ideal for sustained training.

    This is great stuff. I’m an Athletic Trainer and I work with college athletes. This is helpful. I’ve also started to make videos on TH-cam. I hope to get on your level soon!
