Plenty of reasons why there should be new music from a lore perspective. But real world - it's both expensive and risky to create new music for a game. They took the easier/safer option. Don't get me wrong the way they went absolutely works for their games but they could do more.

The way it shifts from a sort of calm melody to an upbeat tune gives off the vibe of a day/night transition. Night city shines no matter what. In the glimmering night or glazing daylight.
Lyrics giving us an insight of the deeper shades of Night City. The beauty hiding the beast within. The crime and chaos hidden underneath the rise of megabuildings and skyscrapers. When I heard this song in-game I stopped everything and tried to find the radio or speaker it was coming from and just stood there and listened to it until it was finished. Despite all the bugs this game is magic.

The game obviously is something brand new to us which we never experienced before and still, while listening to this song and walking/driving through Night City it feels weirdly familiar, but still in a positive way. Do you know what I mean?

Playing on a PC, I've barely experienced any bugs. A few graphic glitches here and there but they are truly rare. Thankfully. Makes the game so much more fun.

This game is seriously underrated. I absolutely love it. Everytime I play it, I get goosebumps, no matter how many times I play it. I get that the world in Cyberpunk is dangerous, but sometimes I really wish I could just live in Night City for at least one day. It'd be a decent memory.

I purchased a sound bar and subwoofer just for this game. As soon as I walked up to the front door of Lizzies bar for the first time I could hear this song bumping in the background. I felt so immersed once I walked inside, I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a good while despite all the bugs.

I literally built a PC and bought surround sound just to play this game. It's absolutely insane how immersed you can get into this game, and it's only single player
I play all my games with monitor/studio quality headphones and it added so much immersion to the game. I spent hours just exploring Night City.

Recently did a new play through of Cyberpunk, I used to play without the radio... Figured I'd try it with the radio and this banger came on, truly this record is so good, deserves far more spotlight outside the game, it's now on my everyday playlist.

Jokes aside though most of the games you used to compare are completely different and use completely different styles for their OSTs. Especially since you tried to use games that are recognized for having masterpieces of OSTs as a way to say "oh there are these other OSTs so calling this a masterpiece is wrong"

I got into a car and the songs main chorus kicked on as V was stepping in. Immediately my ears were filled with bliss.
I heard this song right when Jackie was riding us back into our apartment in my first playthrough. I instantly fell in love with the game's world and its characters.
Jackie Welles is one of the best video game characters in recent times. Such a short time you're with him, but both him and Johnny are super impactful.

For me...when 'Radio Ga Ga' starts playing on the radio in gta 5...I just stop everything I'm doing and just drive around till the song's over...Same goes for this song and 'A moment apart' in FH4.....There is some magical bond between these songs and their respective games

After completing Judy's quest early in the morning after a night 😉, she gave me acess to her pod then I get into my sports car avenger, this song comes on and am like "Perfect timing" I just chill being the happiest I can be in the game! Perfect experience

First time I heard this song when i was taking out a bunch of tygar claws. And this song started as I was cleaning up the area the song was playing on the radio and made me stop and look at the city.
