I noticed that too, but it didn't look like he was strutting....it looked to me like he was walking on Hot Coals!😂😂 I know that the Florida Sun is Hot this time of year!!🤣🤣
@walterabraham5367- Maybe. That’s called a “sissy strut” in New Orleans. lol. Jk, I love Andrew’s vids but this is a strange occurrence because it’s clearly uncomfortable on his part. His personality sells, the thought process behind “looking natural” while walking is NOT needed. He’s a solid fellow, just funny is all. I was interviewed on tv once…once. It was hilarious!!! I almost rubbed my 9 month olds hair off! lol. Geez gives me curled toes thinking on it.
I can't say anything about either chassis from personal experience. However, I lived in Charlotte, MI for a few years when a friend decided to buy his first home. My old friend and rooomate's younger brother was an intern engineer during summer break at Spartan Motors where their headquarters is located. He enjoyed working there and from what I observed nearly everyone who worked there enjoyed their career. They took a lot of pride in producing durable high-quality chassis for first-responder vehicles and higher-end "mass" production RVs.
Very much appreciated video. A bit surprising to me but valuable for sure. I can't accept the excuses of the industry being. " it's a house on Wheels what do you expect? Things are going to break" or "it's a rolling earthquake". For the amount of money being paid for these top-of-the-line coaches craftsmanship & reliability has to be 100% . They can be easily engineered so that all the workmanship inside including Electrical Plumbing and Carpentry should be able to absorb any tremors coming through the chassis. Anything attached to the structure can be isolated by specialized shock absorbing rubber platforms. I'm not going to buy a coach for 2 million dollars that breaks down in any which way. The new ones are going for over 3 million and yet the warranty is minimal. That's unacceptable. It's time for the industry to stop making excuses and start having pride in their workmanship. I believe somebody who cares will come along and build a proper top of the line coach with rock solid reliability of a military tank & a seven year warranty bumper to bumper based on proper documented maintenance.
Wow! Really fair & accurate ranking of all Class A Rigs as far as I can tell, and we have lived and breathed this Full-Time RV Lifestyle for 7 years. We could only afford a used 3 year old Dutch Star, which we are still in and love. Great job Andrew.
Many people use the term Rig incorrectly. A rig is a combination vehicle. A truck and a trailer is a rig. A motorhome and a tow vehicle behind is a rig. A motorhome by itself is not a rig. Look it up if you do not believe me.
It took me years to figure all this out so here is my take: 1) I put Newell up there with the Prevost teams for quality, looks and options, but yet Liberty takes the lead... a) Liberty b) Newell c) Marathon d) Legacy (you forgot to mention Legacy Andrew) e) Featherlite f) Emerald g) Millennium 2) Foretravel - then the production coaches but they are a low lower in quality than the list above... 3) Newmar 4) Country Coach 5) American Coach 6) Entegra I like the rest of your list buy I wouldn't buy any of those so I don't follow them as much. Well, I would buy one if the price was well worth it else I would prefer to save more for one of the ones above. Thanks but you should have made this list years ago LOL
Foretravel is kinda in their own niche market…they are a fiberglass coach…but they’re built on a K4 chassis with conversion components like valid air slides etc..nobody touches their rear baths…Prevost is tough…Hands down Liberty Coach…Li-on electrical system with Dean Loucks paint job…Marathon fit and finish the best…Emerald…Featherlite and Mileninum build beautiful coaches…they can’t separate themselves from Liberty or Marathon though…only in the price area they separate themselves from them…Newell…largest windows…largest living space on the market…but their basement storage needs attention
I was assuming the "most viewed" graph would be highest where he mentions specific brands or specific reasons...reading comments, figured out that all of the "most viewed" are where anyone cited how crazy his walk is.
It depends on how much you want to lose in depreciation. They all depreciate from new, but do you want to buy a one million dollar Newell or Newmar and lose 500k in 5 years, or buy a 200k Winnebago and only lose 100k in 5 years. If you are spending 2 million on a coach it better be perfect with no issues with the absolute highest quality.
Really good review Andrew! Im really a big fan of the Entegras and Newmar coaches. Ive been looking into late model Entegra Aspire, Anthem or possibly an Cornerstone. I really appreciate your video's, it really helps me out.
I was 2nd owner of the 2010 Allegro Bus diesel pusher 42.5’ 4 slides. The aqua hot went out called Tiffin asked if they could help me. They charged me 1/2 price on a new in box upgraded aqua hot and shipped it, I was up state ILL, So I wound up installing and was hard with friend help remove the old and get the new one in place. 2nd point a lot of couch manufacturers went out business, I think Newell did, I like there couch, Tiffin never blinked.
Andrew, my man... you be struttin' like "you own it bro!" Seriously, Winnebago for Diesel is not competitive. I have a Gas, Adventurer on F53 but I purchased a sway bar. Quite frankly, I'm spying a Newell but also keeping my mistress' of a Monaco or Beaver from Oregon.
Why does Brad let those Motor Coaches sit out in the sun? When he has that huge storage bldg to put them in. The sun does a lot of damage to those coaches.
Nothing wrong with any coach, any brand, and level of cost. The bigger issue is finding someone that can work on them when they need work. They all break, they all need attention, and unless you can do the work yourself it will cost you a bunch. Owning a Wanderlodge changes your outlook on quality. Great job again Andrew. Thanks again from a long time subscriber.

I appreciate the time you spend on this video, But I do think you missed a couple of important points in the production coaches world. As the owner of the Class A rig ( diesel) How was you overall experience( customer service, call-in for service). I have had two REV group products HR and and American coach. Both experiences have been top of the line. The service from the REV service center in Decatur has been world class. When I upgraded my HR I looked at both Newmar and American Coach. Because of my experience with the service center It was a no brainer, But the other factor was VALUE> The American coach offer a better value and the interiors are are much more modern. and light than the Newmar and Tiffin's coaches. When you are spending north of 500K, value does come into play as part of what you can count on. Last point American coach offer in my opinion a better warranty than the other class Production coaches,
Hey Andrew, great video. Here’s my opinion, not that anyone asked 🤣 : I think that the lower quality RVs fill an important demographic niche in that if it weren’t for these, thousands of families would be able to afford and enjoy the rv experience. If possible, that population of buyers can move up. It’s really no different than the GM or Ford or even home builders strategy with their price points. Not everyone can afford or wants to buy a Prevost so there needs to be options at different price points. Having said that, it seems like Winnebago and Thor have taken over the production coach world and the old school family owned coach builders that took great pride with quality have been acquired by one of these corporations so it does turn into a focus on profit and ultimately shareholder value. I own a 2007 Monaco Holiday Rambler Navigator 45’ which was top of the line back then. I really would be very Leary of selling my coach, which had a price of $550K in ‘07, for a new production coach. The quality of my coach is incredible. I think it’s very telling that a 16-17 year old Country Coach or top end Monaco/ eager/Holiday Rambler sells for the same if not more than a 4 or 5 year old “luxury” production coach like a Tiffin Bus. It’s a shame that there are no longer any production coach family owned builders that really too pride in their products like they used to. My 2 cents. 👍

Being an Arizonan and a born and raised trucker. These companies are trying too hard with these swishy paint jobs. 90 percent of the high dollar RVs are 90 percent black. It would take two days to cool those things down if left in the heat. I think the rv builders think the more swishies in the paint the more luxurious it is. I personally think they all look ok at best. Give me a pearl white base layer, primary color bay door area, and a subtle designer band with the primary and a lighter tone of the primary. Just like the older rigs used to. Also the weight of these things are way out of line. Just because they have more stuff doesn't make them more luxurious. 45k lbs should be the limit.
