The guest house idea isn't a bad idea if you have a back yard big enough to maneuver this into a manageable position. Jayco use to be a quality builder until they were bought out by Thor. I wish you the best of luck. I cannot stress enough, it is never a good idea to buy new. I encourage anyone buying new to go to the production facility and watch them be built, you will no longer want to purchase one. They produce many units every day. The total time from start to finish on a unit is only a few hours for most models. They are literally slapped together with glue, staples, screws (many not actually hitting anything) and the materials are cheap. My Dad sends me pictures of the D grade lumber stamping and bundles of the cheapest wood you've ever seen. A lot of boards come in looking like hockey sticks they are warped so bad. The dinettes, bunks, etc are made from 1x2's and 2x2's (yes, for weight but also because materials are cheap). Which also means they are not sturdy and have a short lifespan. The warranties and customer service is even a bigger joke. I truly wish anyone the best of luck if they buy new.

@@4ce5bf154 I have a feeling you may be right about that. I have a piece of property that something like this would be beautiful on, and it has sweeping views, but not if I’m freezing. Haha
I can see how they cut corners to have this meet a price point. The windows are inexpensive, the ceiling wrap material is not $$, etc most of the materials are what we would call 'builder grade". That is not to say that this will not appeal to a lot of people because of its price, but this is 2024, you are not getting SOMETHING for NOTHING. Buy this knowing exactly what it is. It is not built to last, and it is not built to be luxury, its built to give you basics for a cheap price.
You can also see at @4:44 the shoddy seal around the top of that shower seat. It all looks pretty, but I would definitely park it under a pole barn, as I would any rv that I was going to live in and not move around.
I live in the RV capital of the world where these are manufactured. If anyone wants to buy a new RV, I highly recommend visiting a production line. The materials are cheap and they are literally slapped together. Workers are on piece rate and typically build anywhere from 6-20 units a day depending on the model. Workers on pierce rate get the same pay no matter how long they take. It incentives them to go as fast as possible and work as little hours as possible. Almost ALL RV manufactures work this way. Productions workers average 30-35 hours a week and some make well over 6 figures. It's all about getting units out the door, quality and materials are very poor. The show models look the best because they are built as show models and are gone through with a fine tooth comb. What you see is not what you will get. I can promise you this because I have built them and I know how poorly they are assembled. Your best bet is to buy used after depreciation and after they have been back to the service center for the twelfth time and had all of problems addressed. Which also happens to be about the time the owner who bought it new has had enough and just wants out from under it. You'll get it for half the price, or less and most of the headaches will already be dealt with. Thank me later!
Yes, but then most (not ALL though) RVs made in America are pretty much glued/stapled crap. The Forest River (FR) conglomerate (a number of brands under the F-R umbrella) is one of the top crap-makers -- and has been for years to anyone who knows much about the RV industry (like Coachmen, which also makes towable RVs, or Thor is in the motorized RV segment). The exact opposite is true of Canadian and maybe EU-made RVs, which tend to be WAY better quality (with better warranties & Customer Care). People are so easily taken in by what they see on the surface (eye-candy) vs. looking a bit deeper...such as who makes the RV and how their quality (fit & finish/materials used) is -- or not. So ignorant/gullible buyers have been keeping the crap-makers in business for decades (and the American RV crap-makers thank them!). Also, most RV buyers don't even research how good (or not) a RV maker's "customer care after the sale" is -- FR's rating is poor...not to mention their RV dealers who don't take care of you even for factory warranty items (but that's also true of many brands). So while this is a very nice looking RV (even if a "park" model, which is fine), because of the simple fact FR makes it I'd have to pass... Now if a Canadian RV maker produced one, I'd be seriously interested. ;-) -- BR
This isn't a tiny home, a travel trailer or an RV (recreational vehicle). In fact, it's not a vehicle at all. It's a mobile home, also known as a trailer. These are meant to be towed, usually only once, to their final resting place, usually a trailer (mobile home) park. For most people who own trailers such as these, they are their only homes, not second vacation homes or temporary residences. I lived in one of these things for 7 years of my younger life. Had a great time but wouldn't want to do it again.
Two reasons: 1. Got tired of bumping my head and banging my elbows on things. Look at those lofts, they're cute places for little kids but the novelty wears off quickly. 2. There's a stigma attached to trailer park dwellers who are often treated as second class citizens. As an adolescent, it's hard to deal with.
@@luckydelauta3859 Totally understand. Those lofts are only good for either temporary use or storage, but for a single couple, the way cost/prices are now, it isn't a bad alternative, even for those retired on a budget, as the master bedroom is ok.
With the way the real estate market is going, that "stigma" is going away quickly. I would love to live in a mobile home if it meant i owned my home. @@luckydelauta3859
I've been living in one for 11 years. The upsides are things really easy to fix and DIY. It's cost efficient. My trailer is bigger than some people's homes. Utilities are low. Down sides. Though I own, I always have to pay lot rent which gradually gets higher every year. A small yard. No garage...and no matter how nice and clean you maintain your trailer, you are still trailer park trash. I could sell tomorrow for 60k so there is that but may give it to my kids as a starter home.
Beautiful! I think the only thing that may have been missed during this build is not turning the stairs into functional stairs with drawers for extra storage. They could have been made seamless and maybe a way to open the drawer by the edges of the drawer instead of a knob or handle. That would have been a really cool feature.
That is absolutely stunning and very modern with lots comfy space for a small family or travel. The price is phenomenal as well and I myself would be interested too
Only issue i have w this is the bathroom is at the opposite end of the bedroom. I think it would be pretty amazing if they could set up a kitchen and have a bathroom as sort of a divider between the kitchen and the living room. Also less "bar" length...add another cabinet base w a dishwasher.

Nice one, Myles, but I'd walk out & away the minute I realized there's no bathroom at the other end of the trailer for the master suite. No way am I traipsing through the kitchen & its trip hazards in the dark, then the living room...nuh uh. 😂
I can’t believe the floor space of this RV at this price point. If this is a four season living RV it is bigger and cheaper than Park model RV’s. Especially if all appliances are included in that price.❤
@@BarnzTT it’s depends on your local rv park I’m not gonna say the exact place cause it’s right by home but a lot of parks will either deliver your rv or allow it to be delivered to their lot sometimes for a fee if you don’t have a truck because most of them just stay put once on a lot
Nice and roomy. I only wish the bathroom was closer to the main bedroom, or better yet have a toilet next to it. With 6-7 people and only 1 bathroom it would be quite difficult. How does the regular bathroom works? is this supposed to be connected to a sewer and water service?
The design is above average. You could change-out a lot of the kitchen and washroom materials and imo it still would be Inexpensive but esp if you did labor yourself! Great video brother~ 🫴🏻✌🏻
Thank you for showing it! It’s beautiful and the price is great! Does it have all the hookups like sewer, etc? If we are to buy it, do you deliver to Florida and how much?
The special $60k pricing is 🎉. It would be nice if master bed was king size. This would be perfect for a vacation home on piece of property. If roof is rubber it would need a roof over it to protect and preserve long term, but all very affordable for what you get.
I dont eant alot of big windows in anything i live in. Especially if youre camped , youre asking for something to break in , trust me , ive had that experience.
Do you have more information about the model you're touring? Nothing comes up with the Aurora 42 Condo. Thank you for the excellent information and viewing. 😍
Nice price point, curious to know what materials they used in the build and the R-value, is it 4-season? Wish you would have walked all the way around to see the slides. Thanks, keeps ideas flowing.
I wonder if their quality has improved. I bought a brand new 2014 Forest River trailer and had to do a lot of nit picking fixes after the first trip. I wish I could just rip out the shower as it was of such poor quality with small leaks.
Park model trailer. Sadly many RV parks will not allow them in. All the parks in my area are bursting at the seams. Another problem is the pad rents are not cheap anymore. Had a lady tell me is paying $1200.00 per month at one of the local parks in my area.
Wow! I currently live in 750sqft smaller home. This RV, would work! The layout, the washer AND dryer, walk in shower. Kitchen island, the lofts! Great for guests and Grandkids!! Windows are AWESOME. Patio door! This place would have a "Snow Load" compatible roof-carport type structure, with a covered deck accessible from the patio doors. Maybe even an outdoor kitchen, with wood burning fireplace. I could easily live out my retirement years in this!😉😊 thanks for the video Myles! You do awesome work. Hope the sales rep, gave you a portion of het commission!😉😊👍👍
Self explanatory really, sale price, not ment to be used as a regular travel trailer. It's a move to final destination, reposition as needed. Do not take to yellow stone, etc every year. Regular price $72k, in a terrible market, doable.
It appears to be nice, but I do know if you’re living or traveling in it those windows get ready for the heat. You never gonna be able to keep it cool but it is attractive if you live up in the mountains and you’re completely under shade, but other than thatlooks nice
And it’s awesome that is so cheap. But when you start looking at some of the parks to put this on be prepared to spend thousand dollars a month for rent.😢
Dude there’s someone with one of these here in Vegas at the park I’m staying at and I had to do a double take when I passed because at first glance I thought fifth wheel and immediately realized it’s not! I would love to trade in my 34 ft 2021 keystone cougar half travel trailer for this! And sign a new contract with you guys!
What l like is that even though it is economy, it does not look it, it looks much more expensive. The lofts because of the low roof are pretty horrible though.

Not 4 season.
I can’t believe this is only $60,000.00. It’s very nice & I could live comfortably with my boyfriend and 3 fur babies.
Especially with the house prices these days. Just buy a plot of land and live on it.
@@BarnzTTI’m in Florida and lot rent is average 300-500 including sewage and water/electric then once you pay off the trailer buy some land
@@BarnzTTthe one I’m thinking about will even pick up your rv if it’s somewhat local of course and drop it on a lot if you don’t have a truck
@@BillyBob-im7og What brand and model is that?
@@BarnzTT it’s depends on your local rv park I’m not gonna say the exact place cause it’s right by home but a lot of parks will either deliver your rv or allow it to be delivered to their lot sometimes for a fee if you don’t have a truck because most of them just stay put once on a lot
Thanks for taking us on the tour of this cool concept trailer.
Sign me up!! You had me at resodential toilet! The colors are beautiful!!!
Nice and roomy. I only wish the bathroom was closer to the main bedroom, or better yet have a toilet next to it. With 6-7 people and only 1 bathroom it would be quite difficult.
How does the regular bathroom works? is this supposed to be connected to a sewer and water service?
Thank y Ty our for price! I hate when u gotta jump they hoops for pricing
If we are to buy it, do you deliver to Florida and how much?
wow! that is nice! thanks for showing this.
The special $60k pricing is 🎉. It would be nice if master bed was king size. This would be perfect for a vacation home on piece of property. If roof is rubber it would need a roof over it to protect and preserve long term, but all very affordable for what you get.
I saw another video on this model, and I believe you can remove the two shelves on each side and upgrade it to a king?
That price is AMAZING!
You can put back in your yard and use it as an airbandb
Yes! I would like to speak with someone on purchasing this model. This would be perfect for me downsizing from a 4 bedroom home.
45.5 ft wow!
I wouldn't pay more than $30k for this, and that would be pushing it to be honest.

I dont eant alot of big windows in anything i live in. Especially if youre camped , youre asking for something to break in , trust me , ive had that experience.
Where was this 10 years ago?😂. Now we’re too old but I still have the wanderlust. I am going to subscribe because of you.
That is very sad, Ruth I feel bad for you - youth should last forever. May I ask how old you guys are?
I had a 2016 model almost identical to this. They were around. I know. 8 years ago, not 10.
Wow! Now if u really wanted to live off the grid this is it! $60k its essentially a studio on wheels or a condo as stated wow!
Thx for the video I’m definitely interested .. that’s a nice rv 👍👍👍.
What area are you in?
Do you have more information about the model you're touring? Nothing comes up with the Aurora 42 Condo. Thank you for the excellent information and viewing. 😍
Wow, for a nice camper like this that is an awesome price!!😊
Nice price point, curious to know what materials they used in the build and the R-value, is it 4-season? Wish you would have walked all the way around to see the slides. Thanks, keeps ideas flowing.
Not 4 season
All I can say is WOW. This is very nice!
I wonder if their quality has improved.
I bought a brand new 2014 Forest River trailer and had to do a lot of nit picking fixes after the first trip. I wish I could just rip out the shower as it was of such poor quality with small leaks.
RV shopping is hard for tall people. As a 6'3" person, I could not imagine having to crouch down every time I went into the bathroom.
Can you do a review on the modern buggy 12lrk and modern buggy BB14? I know the 12lrk is at the show not sure about the BB14
That is so beautiful and the price is shocking! The only thing I would change is the queen bed to a king bed!
I can certainly believe that it's under $60k, the quality from forest river has been declining in the past couple of years...
You wouldn’t recommend this company. I’m new to the rv world and trying to get as much information as possible
@@jameshenderson3668 It's not that I wouldn't recommend them, but when you're looking at them, pay attention to detail...
Park model trailer. Sadly many RV parks will not allow them in. All the parks in my area are bursting at the seams. Another problem is the pad rents are not cheap anymore. Had a lady tell me is paying $1200.00 per month at one of the local parks in my area.
Get it. Definitely sold by now. For loft reference: Do you have longer legs than torso? Could you please offer a precise height for reference. TY
Just bought one today. Being shipped to Bakersfield Nov 7th. Can’t wait.🫣🥂😜
Fantastic! Hope you enjoy it!
Hope the sales rep, gave you a portion of het commission!😉😊👍👍
there's a reason it's that cheap.
???
?????
Self explanatory really, sale price, not ment to be used as a regular travel trailer. It's a move to final destination, reposition as needed. Do not take to yellow stone, etc every year. Regular price $72k, in a terrible market, doable.
I really like this, room for two and the price is awesome.
It appears to be nice, but I do know if you’re living or traveling in it those windows get ready for the heat. You never gonna be able to keep it cool but it is attractive if you live up in the mountains and you’re completely under shade, but other than thatlooks nice
5 years ago it would have been 40k.
That's really cool!!!
I am suprised these don’t come with wind tie downs. Seems like it could blow over in high winds
Wow!!! Me encanta, quiero uno!!!!❤
This is something i will consider when moving to acreage before my home is built. Any idea how they hold value for resale later?
I love this destination trailer!
If you like cheap finishes that look okay for about a year and leaking roofs. This is the way to go !
I'd be interested to know where the water pipes are located. Water pipe location is always a deciding factor for me with RV'S or trailers .
Are those loft divider shelving units removeable???
And will a king mattress fit in bedroom? Thanx!!!
Yes, I have the land, would want one near the panhandle of florida
Looks like my new home, I'm loving this!
I am very interested I love it, I will buy soon. Thank you.
Nice price, good content.
Love it!!! This is the best I’ve seen
And it’s awesome that is so cheap. But when you start looking at some of the parks to put this on be prepared to spend thousand dollars a month for rent.😢
Because you’re going to put 60k into it for repairs.
And that’s the elephant in the room nobody’s talking about…lol
Well if your buying it to live in like many people do here all you have to do is get it there and your good.
A unit that big and tall for $60k is go8ng to have a lot of movement. Movement on an rv means a lot of stuff breaking and leaks.
Forest river ,I don’t think so. Just might fall apart in two year..😮
What I saw was base price ,but the model price as shown is 71,000😊 still a value
The stairs should fold up for more storage. That would be nice.
A Canadian conversion that would probably be around 82K is still a pretty good deal.
Of course you would need a decent pickup truck. That's about the size of a semi-trailer.
Really nice! The expense comes in when you’re trying to dock it for living.
What l like is that even though it is economy, it does not look it, it looks much more expensive. The lofts because of the low roof are pretty horrible though.
The price is great, definitely cheaper than some of the prices for new cars.
