Wow, these bounders have really changed. We bought a brand new one back in 2002 kept it for about 2 years until we traded up the front end looks amazing. Nice video really enjoyed it.
i always appreciate it when the review person(s) are familiar with the unit like y'all, had not considered this manf but will look at one now? wish u guys were closer to me so I could get the inside scoop on build sheet do's/don'ts, be safe out there at those crazy shows!! 🤠
Best Class A Gas RV is made by Newmar. Yes, even the ones made during Covid. We have one, a 2022 Bay Star, delivered in 2021. A few very minor issues, all fixed within a week by the dealer, and none since. I guess I should just be quiet now, lol, and count our blessings. A Ford chassis recall issue was handled by our local Ford dealer. So many coaches out there LOOK beautiful but have endless problems!! I would be in tears if some of the things I see happening to other RV owners on TH-cam (including you guys) happened to us! Have you considered looking at pre-owned Tiffin or Newmar diesel pushers? With a thorough professional inspection, of course. Have you seen the YT'ers "Blue Ox on the Run"? Great videos about RV inspections. Kinda scary, actually, but a definite reality check.
We've heard good things about Newmar. We're just not fans of the floor plans (except for the one that's close to one million 🤣). Although I'm very excited about the Canyon Star refresh. It might be worth waiting for! John has finally convinced me to give used a try so we are thinking about those options as well. Yes, we know the folks at Blue Ox and we will most definitely be reaching out to them when we make our next purchase.
My husband and I have a class A and the only thing he really doesn't like is the size of the windshield no other vehicles on the road have such huge windshields
That's interesting.....the windshield is one of John's favorite parts of a Class A. He enjoys the view. Personally, I hate all the dust that ends up on the large area of the dash near the windshield....constantly dusting. Thanks so much for watching and safe travels!
We love our 2022 35k! Love the step upgrade to access the batteries. Hope this coach is put together better than ours! Trying to fix our 3rd water leak! Thanks for the video!
It comes with an option to have the half bath in the bedroom closet. We did see a fifth wheel earlier this year with a laundry room. That was really nice. Is that what you were thinking?
hello I would like to know since 2021 have you had water leaks from outside how is the exterior noise insulation? Thank you in advance for answering me
Good review guys, I really like the new front end. January 8th I'm taking my 2020 35K to Liquid Springs, in Lafayette IN. for 4 corner 5 link suspension upgrade, I can't wait!. Safe Travels.
I am, going to do a video of the plant, some of the install and a details how the system works. I'm so ready, after our 3rd 4800 mile cross country trip. It's time for Liquid Springs.
Hey guys, its been a while since I have seen a video. Been pretty busy with life. Hope you are doing well. Are you still planning to get a diesel pusher?
Welcome back! Yes, we are still planning on it. Just have to find the right one. The two models we were most interested in were discontinued this year. 😢. So the search continues....
@@RamblinRoadies Ok...I remember it now. We saw one at the Hershey RV show in this vid th-cam.com/users/liveEM9b50BOC_Yth-cam.com/users/liveEM9b50BOC_Y around the 30 minute mark. Floor plan was nice. Upholstery was disappointing. Very similar to the Red. Tiffin has great customer service but I'm sure you already know that. 😊
All that storage is unfortunately meaningless when after you factor in the weight of occupants, a washer and dryer + plus basic essentials, you only have like 600-700 lbs of CCC left.
Greetings Earth Roamers! Very nice coach, not much negative I can say from my chair right here. I am with John in a big way, I do NOT like the cockpit view at all. Its ok at best, but more than anything, it takes away from the driving experience when the cockpit/dash area is so lackluster and generic. You step into what looks like a luxury coach and then sit down at the wheel behind looking at the dashboard that is so very dated, plain, boring. It's like walking up to a fine Cadillac only to open the door and sit in the driver's seat of an older Honda. I hate that they cheap out on those cockpits after doing such a nice job on everything else. Still using analog in the digital age and just minimal features, not a fan, but until a brand starts showing off with a way better cockpit... well, nobody is going to feel the need to upgrade and compete to make these cockpits up to date. Again, the driving experience is a BIG deal to me. My only pet peeve is, still related to the cockpit, is I prefer that side window to be much wider and come all the way back to my shoulders at least. AND you can't tell me with all of the real estate on the front of that coach they "AVS" contraption has to stick up in my view in the front window!!!!! I hate that! I wonder if you guys will ever find a diesel pusher you love and can afford one day. They seem to have the power and a much better cockpit to boot! Great review as always.
Hi Brian! Glad you enjoyed the review, John is sitting here nodding his head to every word you wrote. The industry needs a new comer to shake things up a bit. I'm hoping Grand Design might be able to do that with its motorized units due next year. We'll see. Still looking for that DP. We were hoping to get one but they discontinued our top two favorite models 😢. We're patient though and have expanded our search into the used market. Take care and safe travels!
Hi 👋. No plans on getting another gas. Just sharing this one from the show. It's too bad the diesel we purchased last year was delivered in such bad shape (we refused to take it). We're just taking our time now...waiting for the right one.
1,400 lbs of cargo. That should be illegal. I will wager more than 90% of these will be overweight. Lets see you the Mrs and Jr. at 200, 150 and 150 lbs respectively leaves 950 of cargo, 500 lbs for the hitch weight of your jeep, we are down to 450 lbs, water at 8.34 lbs per gallon so if you have 53 gallons of water on board then nothing else. No clothes, no lap top, no grill, no lawn chairs, , no bikes etc.
Looks like a bunch of aesthetic upgrades. The way you showed the video, Bounder competes with some higher-end gas models. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you! We really liked the changes Fleetwood made to the Bounder.
Beautiful rig guys, great review 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! 😊 Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the storage and and recliners. Bedrooms were nice too
You can fit a lot in a Bounder! And the recliners were super comfy!
You did a great review. Love how you do it.
Thank you so much! We appreciate that! 😊❤️

Great job you two.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful rig, but I would like to replace half bather with washer and dryer

Washer-dryer goes to the left of the bedroom TV in the big cabinet.

The cockpit was extremely loud. But we were able to quiet it a bit by adding insulation to the doghouse. Worked great!

nice to finally see RVs, other than Mercedes chassis, getting advanced driver aids. Still no Ford or Chevy Class Cs :(
So true! It's long overdue!
The half bath !the toilet should be moved to the front and put the sink where the toilet is !!! A no brainer

no kangaroo on the logo? breaks my heart. that was john crean's idea. he was a great man.
I know. We were disappointed our 2021 didn't have the kangaroo.
Are you from USA?
Yes we are.
I'm liking the new Tiffin Byway.
We'll have to take a second look. If I remember correctly we weren't too impressed with the one at the Hershey RV show. Which one are you liking?
@@AmpedtoGlamp I like the 38CL. It's the floorplan I always thought Tiffin should offer. I hate the midship TV.

Great towing capacity but totally terrible CCC
Yes. We've heard from lots of people who are disappointed with the CCC in most of the Bounders.

Canyon Star or outlaw ?
You want a fifth wheel, he wants a diesel. Why play? Get one or the other. My vote is a diesel. the gas problem is circled ( Ford)

Canyon Star front diesel.
Or Horizon 42Q. Spacious, luxurious and cheap. Or just get a Nemar canyon Star toy hauler and call it even
