They did! But VW discontinued it:( and its not a v8 its a W8. Basically 2 V4's put together

unfortunately these engines are too complex and can be very expensive to repair . Plus the W8 was less effiecient compared to a traditional V8:( but yeah it'd be great if VW brought these back:)
