- Why is there no option for friends and family on PayPal?
You may have realized that The friends and family option is missing when you try to send to a specific person money on Paypal and reason is manily Paypal business accounts will no longer be able to accept or receive personal ('friends and family') payments transactions, and that no Paypal account will be able to send friend and family transactions to Paypal business accounts. This is effective next month, July 28, 2022.

Btw how do I know that I have a business account?
Even if we send as goods and services payment, how can we confirm the payment so that they will receive the amount? Right now, it is shown as holding for them.
You the sender, check that transaction and look for confirm receipt link, if its not there, wait 48hrs for it to appear, If it doesnt appear, Receiver wait max 21 days. If waiting will be issue, receiver can try to refund and you resend the money but this time with less than a dollar. usually that trick works for me sending less money than before to escape the hold. If all fails even after refunding and resending, u just have to wait for hold days. PayPal holds affect everyone evenif u have been dealing with them for a long time

@@sherleyann1 u request PayPal to downgrade it to personal. U can't downgrade it yourself. Or just create a personal account using another email

@@cloudedcobra9694 your friend has to cancel and their end and it will reach back in your account immediately, if you choose to cancel it on your end as the sender it’ll take over 21 day to be refunded 😢

@@webvator yes I contacted my bank and they said that my current PayPal address didn’t match what was on file at my bank. I went back to update it and still the same issue from time to time but lately it has been working.
