I think reviewers need to take the target audience into consideration. Still, it wasn't that good. Morals were backwards, gross out humor isn't humor, whatever. I leave you with background knowledge. Santa was canonically a villainous character, which might be what led to his leave? My memories are fuzzy. Also, Santa coming back for his job is out of spite. He's just a weird character, and I suppose they were going for that.

The stop motion SpongeBob episode kind of reminds me of Elf: Buddy’s musical Christmas which premiered on NBC in 2014. It was a Stop Motion animated version of elf with the songs from the Broadway musical. I first watched it when I was six years old, and then years later when I was in 8th grade my theater group did elf the musical I was casted as Walter Hobbs and I recognized every single song.
