    Waiting for the car chase video (really)!
    I think this channel has potential. Just it's not discovered by most of people yet.
    I'll enter to Blender soon, it's quite perfect tutorial! I was feel excited when saw the video of Blender Animation Studio's "Agent 327" video. I didn't thought that Blender is good as that. Been inspired from them, and you!

    They need to come up with a way to share GPU power across a network. I only have a 1080 card but I'd rent out part of it's computing power when I'm not using the machine for sure.

    Nice tutorial. I thought that metallic paint only consists of glossy shaders.
    Also, I've heard that you're producing a car chase animation, and I'm also producing a car chase animation in Blender for my project. (It looks like we're doing the same thing, right?)

    Hey man, nice tutorial but my problem concerns one of your other tutorials lol. You made that easy car VFX vid when you used AE's camera tracker in blender and then imported the render back into AE for compositing. My AE track is perfect, but when I render it out in blender and put the object back into AE, it drifts and it is out of sync, any help? Sorry for the essay :)

    • @skylinestudiosrc
      @skylinestudiosrc  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have two ideas..
      -You have changed the focal length of the camera in blender.
      -Or your blender footage isn't synced on your background footage. (if you rendered the frame 0 in blender, you should move your vfx element one frame back in ae)
      Tell me if one of these solutions solved your problem.. ;)

    • @adbros2866
      @adbros2866 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@skylinestudiosrc Sure thanks dude! I'll try them out now :)) thanks for you response your work is awesome
      Edit: are there compatibility issues with the ae to blender track script with blender 2.79? thanks

    • @adbros2866
      @adbros2866 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a weird problem, the video and the png sequence aren't the same length when they should be :C
      Edit: I managed to fix it using a REALLY weird method.. I used time remapping in AE and stretched it out to be the same length as the clip. I don't wanna do that all the time though so I'll have to do some research :D

    • @adbros2866
      @adbros2866 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It must be to do with Blender render settings, don't worry dude thanks for the help :D

    • @skylinestudiosrc
      @skylinestudiosrc  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's maybe because the frame rate settings in after effects don't match with your original footage.. You can change that in the import parameters of after effects.

    You said in the video to use the two orange values no matter the color of the paint.. I can't seem to get this to a nice dark blue.. thoughts?

    • @skylinestudiosrc
      @skylinestudiosrc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, you need to use two orange values (one lighter) if you want the paint to be orange.
      If you want a dark blue paint, make the first color value a very dark blue (almost black) and the two other light blue..

    • @skylinestudiosrc
      @skylinestudiosrc  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, for a normal paint, you can just use the principled shader. (roughness at 0) and (metallic at 0)

  • @caajr
