Edit: I just thought for to long about how the two games handle dream worlds. One has people trapped in the matrix, while the other has vegas. Have fun thinking about that.
Galaxy grudge match: Anne, Sasha, and Marcy vs Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu (Amphibia vs Magic Knight Rayearth) Plot: These two groups of teenager girls got transported into another would but the roles have been swap The Calamity trio got transported to Cephiro by Emeruade and the magic knights of rayearth got transported to amphibia by the calamity music box so with states are equal for these groups who will do there adventures better.
First one: Asta 100%. Even beyond the argument that she has probably significantly better things to sell thanks to her having an entire research team that would probably happily help her figure things out, Mona doesn’t like using her fortune telling specifically bc people react poorly to negative ones and always try and fail to thwart them, so she’d probably just have autographs and maybe astrology lessons (she’s a p popular writer in Fontaine). Even besides that, Asta’s the daughter of some of the richest business people in the entire galaxy to the point where she considers having literal billions to be pocket change. She has significantly more capital to work with… Second one: Hu Tao by a MILE. Hu Tao has significantly more duties than just selling funeral stuff, she’s basically the guardian and monitor of those in between life and death. Gui obv is good picking up skills, but I don’t think she’s gonna be able to handle the level of stuff Hu Tao has to do. You’re really telling me a “goth” girl (the easiest way to categorize her, even if very lazy) with a variety channel wouldn’t immediately go viral? Regarding the baby kidnapping thing, A: Qiqi is technically a zombie so I don’t think people would complain about that as much B: Hu Tao has since significantly changed her stance on Qiqi and they’re chill now. I don’t think that’s gonna be in play. Third one: If we’re gonna be assuming the Archons actually are willing to defend the gnosis (I personally subscribe to the theory that the Archons want the Cryo Archon to win/Celestia to fall and the gnosis are mainly somewhat power amplifiers). I could see this one actually going to the Stellaron Hunters. Elio’s knowledge would presumably forewarn them of a lot of the abilities of the archons. Even besides that… Ei is literally just a sword at this point. Her “body” is, guess what, a robot. Aka, a machine that can be hacked. Yes, Ei can take over the body at will, but the “consciousness” of the Shogun (the robot) can be manipulated. If SW can turn the Shogun and Ei against each other, that’s significantly less firepower for the Archons in a straight up fight, and also being able to do that while also threatening Inazuma would probably get Miko to give it up willingly anyway (since Miko is the one that actually had it at this point anyway). Zhongli literally willingly gave up his gnosis to ensure that Liyue isn’t overly reliant on the adepti and can stand on their own. I could see the SH making a contract with Zhongli to give up his gnosis willingly. I could see Venti also being manipulated (even if he knows that he’s being manipulated, I don’t think he’d care. He did not try at all to defend his gnosis when the Fatui stole it). Probably just get him drunk combined with Spirit Whisper. Nahida was willing to give up her gnosis in exchange for the safety of the traveler and Sumeru as a whole, alongside the destruction of Dottore’s puppets. I could see the SH striking a deal to not destroy all of Sumeru (which they definitely have the capability of doing) in exchange for the gnosis. Plus, Nahida has the ability to read minds, she’d be able to see the capabilities and motives of the SH and act accordingly, and especially since she’s not a fighter compared to the others, she’d be willing to make that deal. I can’t comment on Furina bc I haven’t gotten to play Fontaine yet, but based on everything I’ve read and heard she’s no threat to the SH lol. Regarding matchups: Determining who would win a military exercise between General Jing Yuan and Sangonomiya Kokomi or Gorou vs Arlan would be fun, The arataki gang vs Beck’s Badasses from Final Fantasy 7 in a street fight would be interesting (even tho Kuki kinda invalidates everyone else involved on account of her being the only actually competent person there but that’s for yall to decide) Lawyer Battle Royale (who best defends a client) between Saul Goodman, Yanfei, and Phoenix Wright? Can add other characters ofc I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I can think of in terms of Grudge Matches for now
