FYI, totally forgot to get the uranium from the meteor shower I called in 😅
The hardest part about this game is the fact that the entire world changes with every stage. If youre not careful you might miss something. Like for example I never found the crater until later on and the iridum rock with all the rods was gone for me by then. But on the other hand new places and access points open up all the time. You must constantly be exploring as well as crafting. Loving the Videos!
Scaling rock faces is kind of a jetpack exploit. We all do it because sometimes you can find areas that don't become accessible until later in the game. Be warned that sometimes you can glitch through the rocks with varying consequences and you can find yourself in an area with a tier level block preventing your escape. Remember that F4 alone is the "unstuck key" that doesn't always work. The "moon biome" you discovered is accessible normally by going the long way around the rock separator.
The BioDome is a producer. You don't put anything in the slot. Eventually you will unlock a "Tree Spreader" that you load with the tree samples to start growing trees on the planet. You will also unlock a device to genetically engineer new tree species using (in part) the tree bark that the Bio Dome produces.
At this point the organic progress is continuous. Other bodies of water will continue to form even though the lake at your base has reached it's maximum. The terrain will continue to green up even though you have completed the moss stage. It's the same with the plants, tree, and critter stages. Once you achieve the goal they just become more dense the longer you play the game.
"Ti" = "Terraforming index"; "M" means "Million" This is all the environment increases calculated into one number
I love this game so much and I love watching you explore and discover it. You put the tree seed in a Tree Spreader.
Just saw another TH-camr video where he created a 16x16 platform and added nuclear reactors on top plus an entire field full of drills, and he was like half the way to terra form.
Looks like this series from Don will be around for a loooong time :)
Great to see you making so much progress and having fun exploring. You find all these messages of people who tried to survive and terraform the planet, but you are actually succeeding! Well done!

You'll unlock something for the tree seed eventually. I would stick to just using the beans for food and save the others for crafting(if you want🤷🏽♂️).

You really need to set up more Food Growers. Mushroom, Squash and Eggplant are all used for crafting, and you'll need a lot of them.
Right now there's TWO ways to the Crater:
East, Go to the 'Spires area' and either take the zig-zag path to get to the desert, thern turn right and follow the mountainside to the Dead Desert, the Meteorite area, and the Waterfall area. Then aim for the 'saddle' the gap in the mountains to get to the Crater.
Shorter path...
Get to the Sandfall(through the cave, sulphur area and to the sandfall) climb the sandfall, then turn LEFT and follow the edge to get to a cave. Down the cave(You end up behind the ice wall a ways) and keep RIGHT.
In the aluminium Area, add an Advanced Crafting Table to the shelter there, and use it to make SuperAlloy of most of the Aluminium and the rubbish ores.
STOP EATING THE USEFUL PLANTS!
The BioDome T1 is a waste of space and resources.
Try that Optimiser next to the BioDome T2... And Flower Spreaders...
There's 17 Iridium Rods in and around the crater core.
Why the Eff did you enter that narrow cave?
That's the 'Pulsar Quartz cave'. It's not possible to mine it, and navigating it is a pain in the seating pad. Don't go in there without a Compass.
The only way to properly loot that base is to set up a shelter with storage outside. And store everything but one O2 can in there while you go back and forth.
Loot everything, then 'triage' and pick what you need the most to bring back home.
DO NOT bring Blueprints back!
In the shelter you SHOULD have built, you could have set up an unlock screen. Any Chips you bring back means one less slot for something else.
The Tree Seed needs to go into a Tree Spreader. And no, you're not even close to unlocking it, yet.
nothing in this game is a "waste". i personally like the biodome 1 and use it for aesthetics in addition to housing my food growers (until later).
@@patrickaycock3655 It uses more power than a pair of Grass Spreaders, and they not only outproduce it, but get you Biomass, also. Aesthetics really needs to take a back seat during early gameplay. And later you can buy the BluePrints for an empty dome of the same shape. At this stage, both SuperAlloy and Power are somewhat scarce resources.
fusion REACTOR is power production. for the ships, you need fusion CELLS, different recipe. and you will need more eggplant and mushrooms. beans are great for food. squash is needed for T2 Fertilizer. i find that a ratio of 2:2:1:1 (egg, mush, bean, squash) works well. in the end game i dont eat veggies. i have enough honey coming in that i subsist off it. sure honey is the worst food, but it is produced the fastest in game.
the white shiney rock in "dark" area is called the meteor fields biome. there is a secret in that area that leads to something very, very interesting.
14:45 around this time you guessed correctly about something. perhaps you should investigate. might be important.
to make algae collection easier, you could put platforms in the water to stand on under the algae generators. i do this. its very convenient.
the Zeolite cave does spawn "some" ores of zeo but its not enough. you will find "wild" zeolite out in the world. the Zeolite cave is the only spot where you can extract Zeolite from the machines. and yes, you need a T2 minimum.
36:52 congrats! you found the last deconstructable compartment wall. youve already found the ship wall. and yes, thats it as far as ships/bases go. there is ONE other deconstructable wall in the world you have not found and it is NOT a ship/base part. my only hint is that it is somewhere you see every day.
TREE SEEDS go inside of TREE GROWERS. and no, it will do NOTHING in the biodome 2 aside from block a slot of production ^_^
the flora stage.... get ready to move your base or rather, set up an entire area for production ^_^. youll need it. and yes, i mean youll need an AREA for that. lol.

I would recommend making beacons to place around the map. You can change the color of the light and it will show up on the screen so you'll know which direction to go

Once available, always upgrade to newest tier machines for heat and pressure and launch 5 rockets for each = faster TI increase speed.

You could try using your T1 dome as a greenhouse for food.
Oh and for your tree seeds you will get a machine for it eventually I guess you could say it is a T4 Spreader of sorts
i also use the T1 dome for the food growers, DNA stuffs, and incubators. it all can fit in and looks neat.
