i have an military grade iphone and ipad case and omg its so good as its waterproof, sandproof anything proof its really thick but it does a good job :)
Oh and a little tip about applying screen protectors that I never see at least not yet on TH-cam is you cover the whole screen with masking tape except for one edge and then as you apply the screen protector you lift up the masking tape just a little bit at a time so that the dust that's floating around in the air doesn't land on the spots you have not actually put the screen protector on and what you can also do is take one side of the screen protector to your phone with the masking tape so that it's aligned correctly and then you take off the protective cover from the screen protector before you begin to apply it so then you don't really have to worry about aligning it because you already aligned it before you started adhering it to your phone.
Once you replace the screen it's not water resistant anymore, a tiny bit of bulk isn't a big deal when it's protecting such an expensive device. You can get protective cases that aren't huge
What I can recommend, if you are a person that basically never drops her Phone, are scratch resistent foils. I use one for my jet black iPhone, because I hate cases, no matter how thin and love it. It basically looks like you don't have anything on your phone, since it is super thin, but it protects from scratches or fingerprints. Only downsides are, that it takes a while to put it on your phone and as I said, there is basically no drop protection.
If you pair it with a tempered glass screen protector it becomes drop proof since the thin case will prevent scuffing and the screen protector will protect it from shatttering
I'm out of the spigen. I went over to Obliq which is I think offer more of affordable cases which do the exact same thing as a those famous brand on the market.
Hi ijustine my dad runs a company called mobile outfitters, what they basically do is make sceen protectors for phones (iphones,samsung....) and they started making new kinds of sceen protectors called fusions which basically lets you throw your phone and it won't break. Hope it helps :)
if you want something very protective try the screen protector where basically the screen part is glass and the surrounding part(the the black part on your protector) is like plastic, i personally use it and i drop my phone a lot and the protector hardly breaks

You can put your iPhone in the Apple iPhone case in the DJI Mavic controller. You do not have to insert the phone into the remote's arms rather just rest it in between the arms and since the case is silicon it is very secure inside the arms.
I've used the official black Apple Leather case for the past 6 month and it does the job brilliantly. Feels premium to hold, protects the phone and because its leather gives the phone a bit of weight and grip. Definitely recommended!
I would use CaseMate cases. I have always been a 100% protected and their naked tough line offers a super sleek design. Also their glass protectors are AMAZING. I use it on my Apple Watch as well as a CaseMate bumper and use basically only CaseMate cases

I have the Peel case too, only get the matte version. They have a jet black one but after a few weeks it gets so smudged and scratched it looks absolutely terrible and turns matte.
