WARNING! at 11:15 For blaziken and dragapult, there are inernal cooldowns bigger than 15 seconds for Energy Amplifier and Buddy Barrier (you need to check the move itself in the pokemon page not the object): "Has an internal cooldown of 30s to activate Energy Amplifier; Has an internal cooldown of 60s to activate Buddy Barrier" The 15 seconds cooldown is only for "normal" unite moves so if you get your unite move cancel, you should get it back approximately 10 seconds later so you should wait 5 more before reusing it so you can take full advantage of your objetcs
This is making me want to use Buddy Barrier on Tsareena, last night my unite move got canceled THREE TIMES in one match. It happens at least once every match it seems.
The fact that you’re a math buff is amazing because that means you can present us information not shared anywhere else like this video right here. I love looking at stuff like this. I didn’t even know Unite DB had this stuff. WOW! An extra note on movement speed; movement speed itself has *diminishing returns* after a certain point. Numerical wise after 5000 movement speed any extra speed is granted 80% efficiency. Furthermore, if you keep increasing speed past that then at over 5750 movement speed, then any extra points is granted at 50% efficiency. This is why Unite DB’s Sableye emblem patch is *not* speed based or yellow because the amount of speed you get from XP share and float stone are more than enough. Adding more speed through your emblems would get taxed and would be inefficient to running more HP.
5:40 Man, approximate time to score is a boon if you know it. Like if we are stacking it is better to stack 6,24, etc. As for 6 points you take 0.5 sec so if you score 6 points twice(i.e 12 points) you take 1 sec on the other end if you score 12 points in one go then you take 1.1 sec which is a difference of 0.1 sec which matters a lot and this difference just increases more. Like for 30 points if you score 30 in one go then you take 3 sec whereas for 30 points in the form of 6 score × 5 times it takes 2.5 sec which is straight 0.5 sec difference which is huge. You can even do it like this: 24 score than 6 score which too would take 2.5 sec. If you score in 12+12 form you would take 2.7 sec which is still better than 3 sec.
Don't know what circles you're in, but I've never heard anyone dissuade against float stone. It's important to consider context when thinking of item builds. Some junglers can benefit from float stone for instance.
I've recently started playing talonflame, probably averaging 25% damage and 10+ kills, and I've found I do better with charging charm, razor claw, and float stone rather than attack weight. Did the rough math the other night, you're not losing a ton of damage while gaining a ton of speed, which also works well with charging charm. Float like a humming bird, peck like a woodpecker 😂 I also use brave bird so the extra passive move speed has saved me a bunch. Just overall more reliable
Float Stone is ok. It’s mainly useful for rotations which can be alleviated by positioning better. However, it’s not an unviable item like it used to be.
I just explained the item hidden mechanic. I use the float stone on a few pokemon myself 😅 I see a lot of lane players use it in my lobbies, so they mustn't understand
@@UniteClimbing I feel as though items don't have all that much impact. If they did, you'd think we would run into less people using leftovers. One of the "suggested" builds is the special attack on an attack Pokemon, too.
I use stone all the time. It's great. If you are thinking that it should be dropped to 3sec or 1 sec, then I'm with you. I catch allot of runners with float stone.
My thoughts, very informative video. As someone who checks that website a lot it’s gets pretty complex, sadly Pokémon unite doesn’t talk about this a lot which is why not some players don’t understand gameplay mechanics. As for the six hidden mechanics, I actually do know the first one but I always forget that it can be applied to objectives wild Pokémon, not just wild Pokémon. the second one while I do know this one, everyday when I play a solo q game it always feels like at least one member in my team doesn’t know, I really love the calculation you did for the third one. But I’m sure a people might know how damage work through experience. Fourth one I think most people might know about this one now, since I see it quite commonly. Fifth one, is a SUPER recent one, that I did not know about and it should be further analyzed. Last one, I think most people know this for only super bad items, and maybe some good items.
9:48 I too agree with. Assault vest is not at all good. It would only be good if instead of 5 sec, it is 3 sec and you can hit wild pokemon. 12:04 Atleast rocky helmet shouldn't have the cooldown
The assault veat sheild will restore when farming, but withe leftovers for example even receiving damage puts you in combat. So with assault vest as long as enemies dont hit you it will regain the sheild.
i loved this video and i absolutely HATE how pokemon unite (and pokemon in general tbh) purposely avoids explaining important things like this, i always knew they did that but turns out its even worse than i imagined
Yeah man, what's worse is the info they give is just useless. Like, they should have given a good chunk of description while buying the item so that you know if the item is actually useful but instead they have given one line description and we need to buy it to read the full description that too is not complete.
Idk the rules on posting links, it's unite db, on the top menu where you select items, pokemon, choose FAQ There's a dropdown menu on the page with different options ^_^ happy climbing
TiMi should study your videos and update their tutorial system. It's crazy that you're taught how to use moves, score and heal then you're thrown into matches with real players. I didn't even know I could teleport to spawn until I saw TH-camrs do it.

Why doesn't Hoopa deal increased damage to wild Pokemon?
Because Hoopa's unite move is of next level compared to other defenders or supporters
@@Ghost939let's be real, hoopa isn't using unite to take farm, unless it's objectives
@@CM_684yeah but if she could clear farm faster she’s have it more. Think the nerf is really because hoopa was too good in lane
Fluffy tail is a nice answer to use occasionally since it’ll help clear objectives or farm.
@@Ramsowndaworld That may have been true when Hoopa was released, but newly released attackers seem to have better and better secure anymore.

What build do you use for Lucario, I'm guessing Muscle, Attack weight and float stone?
I support this. Thank you
Razor claw's 1.5 sec cooldown + it's slow actually works pretty well on goodra 😊

Do you have a link to the damage calculator graph?
