You are very lucky to have such a beautiful boat but u deserve it cos u are a proper gentleman good luck with the channel and future vids take care fella 😎👍👍👍👍👍
Been out twice only got the blankety blank cheque book tho still have plenty left for when hopefully things pick up. With a prize that good honestly got so much choice of baits so hopefully get on to some fish soon.
Hi mark u ok mate . I enjoyed that , those eels were beasts you brought up from the depths. Would of been well pleased. Wayne knows his stuff doesn't he. All the best mate from grimsby.
Well done on your PB Conger Mark. What is your guesstimate of weight? Well done Wayne on that cracking spurdog too. Enjoyed watching. Thank you both. 👏👌👍. 👏👌👍. Stay safe. 😷😷
@@seaangling So as not to stress the eel too much, I think I would just guess it too. Sounds like Wayne has enough experience to be a close enough judge. 👍
Absolutely cracking eels mate and to Wayne for a fantastic spur , stonking fish did it still have its spurs or had they been removed have caught a few where the spurs had been cut off I know they can do some damage but there is no need to do that to them cracking vid mate tight lines
I was impressed. Loads of deck space, good frontal weather protection and doesn’t “crash” anywhere near as much as the scare stories. Very stable at anchor.
Hi Mark, love the channel, keep up the good work! Just one question having never fished from a boat - why do you let so many fish go without pulling them in to be weighed? Is it simply about them being too big to haul over the side, or is it species dependent? I can't imagine getting a PB fish and not wanting to weigh it or hold it in my hands!
The Spurdog was a pregnant female and we wanted it to go back as quick as possible. She had actually taken 2 lines and there was a bit of a tangle. The eels were slightly different because we thought there was the chance of bigger and they were easier to T-bar at the side of the boat.
This isn’t deep water fishing and the benefits over a multiplier are a personal choice. I see little benefit of a multiplier in this situation and that is what I was using. Roger, what is it about them that confuses you?
@@seaangling i feel multipliers are more direct and practical to use especially using 2lb of lead, I know you were using multipliers but your mate was using the egg beaters, I can understand using them off the beach as they take less skill to cast and usually have a high geared retrieve
@@Mozzer209 I have a couple recorded but were during the duldrums so very little happening. I have plans for species and locations now the restrictions are starting to lift and I’ll be back out in the workshop very soon. 👍🏻
@@seaangling Excellent news shippers, been spinning on the south coast (Devon) a couple of times without any luck, perhaps a bit early still. Look forward to seeing you soon. Cheers Pete
Another great video Mark. Wayne's knowledge is very extensive, he is always good to watch and listen to. A great spur and congers.
It is certainly a pleasure to have a dangle with Wayne.
Great video with excellent fish and company makes a fantastic session tight line's buddy 🎣🐙🐟🐟🐬👏👍✊

Cheers buddy, have you had a chance to use any of your bait yet?

Wayne is most definitely “the man”.
Cracking session.... Some lovely fish between you there....
It was an interesting session.

Afternoon Carl, Wayne certainly knows his stuff and predicted everything for the day except it going so quiet towards the end. Amazing day out.
Brilliant session "anything with teeth" 🤣🤣 know what you mean though spurs are a beautiful fish well done
Spurs were always the target for this session and Wayne knew there was a chance of a good one.
Well done fellas what a cracking spur .
It was a stunner.
Nice one.👍
Thank you! Cheers!
@@seaangling Beautiful Spur Dog, and PB congers, someone else pulling the anchor in, Perfect.👌
Nice fish cracking session
Thank you.
your a very lucky chap
Some nice fish there, especially for this time of year.Liked the split screen too, didn't like seeing your rear ends !!!
When I watched it back I thought there was too much rear view action going on. 😂
Fantastic video Mark Some really nice fish there mate. Ive never had a spur dog before ,maybe one day i will.
I’ve not had one either and the day was planned to try and rectify that. There is always next time but Wayne did have a cracker.
Cracking fish there mate,it has definitely got me thinking about getting a bigger boat for the deeper marks 👌🏻
It has just as much to do with picking the right tide/weather slot. Wayne had been tracking the weather all week before deciding on this day.
Fancy sharing a boat with a skate
They are amazing fish
Well done on your PB Conger Mark. What is your guesstimate of weight?
Well done Wayne on that cracking spurdog too.
Enjoyed watching.
Thank you both. 👏👌👍. 👏👌👍.
Stay safe. 😷😷
Wayne estimated it at about 35lb which is irrelevant really as I could see it was easily the biggest I have caught.
@@seaangling Just nice to know if you catch another that is close in weight. 👍
I need a big enough sack/sling to be able to weigh such a creature.

Fantastic session Mark I like the look of Wayne's rods do you no the make of them? Cheers all the best lads🎣
He did tell me and they are popping rods, I’ll find out. 👍🏻
Many thanks great session for you both. Cheers Mark keep it up🎣👍
Nice spur..and of course your conger. Don’t give up on a cod just yet, 55 years this weekend uk shore caught cod record was caught down my way 👍🏻👍🏻
Anything is possible especially when fishing whole or double squid baits.

I’m pretty sure it had spurs but I didn’t look specifically.
Another great vid good work mark
Now for the big question what did you make of the Wilson flyer compared to the warrior ????
I was impressed. Loads of deck space, good frontal weather protection and doesn’t “crash” anywhere near as much as the scare stories. Very stable at anchor.
@@seaangling yes the slamming myth makes me laugh all small boats slam I own a Wilson very nice boats
Good choice of boat imo. Ideal fishing platform which is what it was designed for.
Wow amaxing EELs Mark .very nice Spur .would love to land one of these. What area where you fishing if your allowed to say.

I don't understand using fixed spool reels for deep water fishing

My ideal partner, anything with teeth and without slime🖖
Preferably also likes fishing. 😂
Wayne why you not making your own videos. Where’s Graham.
Are you still alive Mark?
I think so 🤔
