I live in Dover-Foxcroft and it is an absolutely fantastic town. We have dozens of restaurants, stores, a YMCA, a big hospital, and a great school system. Everyone is friendly and neighbors help neighbors all the time. Love this place!

I did some work at the lumber mill up there. Stayed at these rental cabins up there great Maine town.

I grew up in a house in NY built in the 20's. One thing I remember was the ridiculously good quality of the windows and doors (compared with nowadays). That, and real plaster over lath (no drywall). This place looks similar to that house.

Living there would be a different lifestyle from a larger community, and a good one. The house has plenty of space and looks ready to be lived in, but most folks would want to renovate substantially. It surely needs insulation and thermal windows, and every room needs cosmetic work. You could probably squeeze in a small ensuite bath for the master bedroom. There's room to build a garage, which you really need in a Maine winter.

Yes it has been converted to commercial and office spaces.
Great State Park, beautiful lake to swim in.We had car troubles and the mechanic just outside the park charged us less than our mechanic at home!

Thanks for the feedback. Price is $130,000 and listed in the description. I will do a better job repeating price and road frontage in the videos. Sqft is 2,043 I mention that at 9:30min. Road frontage is 90'.

Real Estate Cowboy that’s a good price you can do wonders with that floor plan. In Michigan can’t keep them in the Market. Gone in weeks. I’m retired and did very well being a buyers agent for Chicago buyers for resort properties. I’m 74 now and my son is a Broker for Century 21 in South Haven. Maine is a beautiful state. My wife and I were both raised on the farm, we renovated a 1857 5000 sqft farm house and we are truly enjoying it in our old age. Our bedroom is 28x 28 with gas fire place. In. Michigan if you restore or renovate an old house there is no tax increase as long as you live in the house. We’re appraised at $500,000 taxes are $700 per yr. we can’t afford to move. We heat with a geothermal I ground heat pump. Which also supplies all our hot water. Enjoy your listings you do a nice job. Thanks
