beautiful house. Like the semi closed in kitchen, big bath w/separate tub/shower, walk in closet, rooms laid out to picture views. I used to own property up there. No flooding but the tides are interesting, navigators learn, especially in a narrow harbor. Maine can be a lonely place, that's why the activity of harbor life is attractive. Driven these roads but not in winter.

I remember our first encounter thru emails looking a home in Lubec and then Robbinston. Years later was able to visit Jonesport , Lubec to scout the area. Hope not a foolish question. I realize there are no guarantees in life. But as much as I like property near water, I always fear the potential of flooding. Is there any history of that here? Great videos.
You can check the fema flood maps for this information.
This property has no history of flooding we are aware of. It sets high above the harbor.
I have talked with families that have been on their properties in Cutler for generations and they have never heard of it flooding up on the land because of the elevations and the protected harbor. BUT like you said, nothing is guaranteed!

It is possible but keep in mind Maine has some extreme tides.
Is there a heat source that doesn't require power, unusual for a home in Maine not to have a wood stove or Fireplace, maybe I missed it.
