Why would college coaches waste time on an unproven high school kid, when they can go after a 20-21 year old that’s already acclimated to the college system? Except for extremely elite high school athletes, getting a full scholarship is pretty tough. The portal needs to be overhauled. This changing schools every season or because your feelings got hurt is ridiculous and ruining college football.
