The steel replacement breach upgrade is so worth it on these, I have the 1322 and the 2240xl. Once I used the 2240xl I ordered a steel breech for my 1322 and its super nice. These pistols are so upgradable, if you are willing to spend around $300 you can make them a amazing little carbine/rifle.

I like the fact that you made the grips and pump stock ,I bought the 1377 and I made my own grips and pump stock too , and it came out amazing, Took pictures so I’m going to make a video soon to load on You tube. 👍

I just spent 75 bucks on the grips and pump for wood. The other thing is they came unfinished. I used black Tung oil to color my grips which was a lengthy process of 3 days. The grips I purchased are nowhere near the thickness of yours. You might want to consider making these for sale. Nobody is making grips like this.

You made the right choice with the 1322 over the 1377 I think.
When the Zombie Squirrel Apocalypse comes you will need the mass
of that .22 cal pellet to pierce the skull of those Zombie Squirrels.

If you use RWS hyper velocity .177 pellets, put a 14" barrel on it, and pump the 1377 to 14 pumps, you break 575 fps and the RWS pellets will put a hole right through a squirrels head, body, whatever you hit, and embed itself in the trunk of the tree. Plastic sabot is always either stuck inside the entry hole or in the brain, but the tungsten rod just keeps going and going.

Loved the video. Great job on the grip and mount. Had to laugh though, as you started off with how impressed you were with the gun, and then shredded the thing. Way cool. I owned the same gun (it was stolen) and l liked mine too. Lotta gun for the dollar spent.

The nicest part of owning a Crosman air pistol is the ability to make it better to suit the individuals need. My pistol has an 18.5" barrel and a rifle stock plus other goodies. I'm not a gunsmith nor am I mechanically inclined but with the aid of TH-cam and air gun forums I'm able to upgrade my gun and so what if I spend a few bucks, it's built to suit my needs! I need to add that I'm 65 and have muscular dystrophy and holding it as a rifle is easier for me, it helps offset the weight1

I like it! You got it set up really sweet for only two weeks. I would love to put some real wood on mine. Really nice job on the handles. I love using wood for many unexpected things. Oak is really hard, so I would say you have an outstanding optics mount .. and you could varnish it even!!

I have a 1377 that must be nearly 14 years old now. Bit rough around the edges but shot true straight out of the packet. Still my go-to if I just fancy a quick few shots in the back yard. In fact, have just ordered the newer model and planning to replace the stock and grips to turn it into a carbine - might buy a steel breech too and replace the sights or get a scope. A great, classic design, very simple and very reliable - and cheap to shoot!

Love your grips you do great work but I question re-using pellets, there is such a thing as “frugal to a fault”. I don’t believe
re-used pellets will hurt the rifling as in the case of steel BB’s but even minor imperfections can affect accuracy and skew your
results, not to mention the time taken to sort and inspect the pellets. The way I figure, I only have so much time at that time has
    cost.

    • @nmarbletoe8210
      @nmarbletoe8210 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

if you're really really want accuracy, it's recommended to inspect every pellet even if they are new.
this guy told me how his HS team won state championship in bb guns: sort the pellets by size and reject the large and the small.

I’ve got two of the 2289 22 caliber with the skeleton stock both are bone stock and are very accurate and a blast to shoot then I’ve got 2 of the 362 rifles ( it’s really nothing than a 1322 on steroids) one with a steel breach for my 3-9x40 scope and it’s my go to gun for rabbits and squirrels and the other one is for plinking, mine are fond of the crosman 14.3 and the jsb 15,89 ( I think don’t hold me to it ) jsb hades is what I use for hunting and 30 yrds is about the limit pumped 8 times (maximum pumps for the 362 )

I been wanting to get me one of those pump action pellet guns there was a pistol I think was home built made it was bulky. I couldn't even pump it down it was really stiff it was selling for $60 buck's. He had a rifle with a wooden stock that was very heavy for a pellet rifle. I ended up getting a crossmens like what you have I do want to make it in a rifle style hand rifle/pistol

Your use, saying, your scope, is made out of piece of wood, basically you, have made protype, scope mount, and grips, and forarm, as for the scope mount, try to put , them on the market, made out aluminum, they will sell like hot cakes, been in the gun world, for 40 years, and know what, people like, as a design development engineering, with tarusa, and other gun company around the world. Good idea and concepts. Keep up with the good work, you are on the game.

These are $100 in Canada from Canadian Tire, if you want to get the best power mods for it, gonna cost another $120 after shipping. $220 for a "460fps" .22 that I dont need a firearms license for but can still break 600fps with the power mods. Best part is, all the power mods are internal and you can keep the gun looking completely stock and theres no way a game warden or police officer can prove its faster. I use this for squirrel and rabbit and pheasant if I get the jump on them, and its absolutely deadly. I use crosman powershot red flight penetrators and it instantly drops anything I hit.
