- The other components are super cool, but I wish I would have gone steel breech first. Most people will recommend that online, and I should have listened. Hopefully it's warm enough to shoot some groups soon and show you what these improvements are capable of.

Get a steel breech
Sometimes something as simple as a roll pin is the best solution.
I got a 1322 without knowing about the modding potential, and so far I've upgraded the internals added a steel breach, 1.5x optic, buckrail silencer, and folding stock to mine lol love it.
Took me years to listen, just last week I updated to a steel breech 🤦♂️❗ Should have listened yearrrs ago, made a huge difference.
Why is this a "necessary" first nod and what are the benefits? What else have you upgraded? I hear a steel breech is like one mod to do if you were to do any. It takes off the stock sights though. I like sights that aren't scoped Incase you don't want the scope on.
@@JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALLbetter seal at the transfer port for no blow by and it makes the barrel stable for better accuracy.
I got my 1322 for 7 years I'm from the Netherlands so getting parts for it is not always easy.. Man that silencer I have to look for one. Great vid thanks.
If you're going to scope a 1377 or 1322, you must have the steel breech. I agree with @Joe Schmoe about Buck Rail. Definitely worth supporting this USA Veteran-owned business. Awesome build!
I've got two 1322s, can't find one yet. But I am leaving the plastic breech on the other, Crosman stock (that and the forearm I custom painted, they look like carved stone now), and a 14.6 barrel. Haven't fired it yet, but will use the stock sights, then go to some more accurate. Have trigger shoes on that one, plus the two 2240s I have also modified, one will wind up as a custom target pistol, the other is now a carbine with a whopping big scope 6-24X. Both of those have steel breeches, but that is because of a bit of custom work that requires them. Custom painted grips on the pistol, and custom painted stock on the carbine. Later when I get time away from other projects will make custom target grips of wood for the pistol. I used to use a stock 1322 pistol to shoot hickory nuts out of a tree, which kept me ahead of the squirrels.
I have no intention of adding a scope or optic, but I have already installed the plumper pumper, and I'm waiting on a pin to install my front sight adapter and suppressor. Also have a flat top pistol kit coming in, and after that hopefully I'm done spending money on this thing.
Steel Breech is an A+ . Buck Rail also has a larger pump handle for the 1377/1322 ... so much easier pumping. Good stuff man !
I agree with the great job the silencer does for backyard shooting. Over the years I have added a Mellon flat top piston and valve, a flow thru bolt probe, a aluminum breech, a longer hammer spring, a scope and a crosman shoulder stock. The beauty of the 1377/22 is you can slowly modify if to your liking without spending a whole lot of $$ up front. But as many state, it is very addicting. $30 here, $20 there, just don't start adding it up, you might be shocked! 😧
You get a Crosman and the urge to modify becomes an obsession.
I had a plastic breech fail at the breech screw. I found all the upgrades and about 250 bucks later i have the steel breech, Williams peep sight and some brass bling. This does not include a longer barrel and brass muzzle break and a couple other brass sparkles that I 'd like to finish the project. So much for the HW90 this year! All in it's going to end up being in the 6-700 dollar range. Brass fever!
You really need the steel breach and a metal barrel band to secure both ends of the barrel. Thats the first and best two mods for accuracy. I would also recommend a longer barrel if your intent is to make it a rifle.
After the steel breech add on u will find out the screw inside the loading port will be a bit too deep, pellets will constantly get caught. I just fixed it for next to nothing. I took a beware of dog sign and cut off the corner with the hole and just trimmed it way back. The hole allows the bole thru and the thickness seems to work. Ive only taken 2 or 4 shots so im not 100% yet. Crosman P1377...most expensive "cheap" gun u will ever buy
Going down the Rabbit Hole pistol. My brother gave me one as a gift and I have already spent over $125 in upgrades.🤣

Not sure if it deserved a punch to the face.🤠
This is the way.
One drawback of the steel breach, you will lose the rear sight. There use to be a multiple shot breach based on the Mrod magazine . I added the steel breach and a longer barrel to my Back Packer.(model 2289). You made an awesome carbine.
There's a version of it by Gmac Custom Parts that allow you have the standard sights with the steel breech.
Just less room for a scope mount
Thanks. I like these pistols and their modability. I would like to see better ergonomics for making pumping more comfortable.
More mod videos would be great.
The Daisy 901 is another budget friendly gem. I got a second one in case they stop making them. Wonderfully well balanced, ergonomic rifles. Light enough to shoot one-handed.
Easy to use and effective
wow that stock looks awesome.
I’ve been shooting tree rats at night with mine and it’s totally stock. Open sights are great. I do want the fiber optic front sight.
I had NO IDEA you could do all this.
I have my dad's old crosman (same model, but there's a putton on the back you pull instead of the bolt handle)
I shot a 3-leaf clover with it off-hand at 30' and just put it away. I'm inspired to get a new one to mod. (Leave dads unmolested)
That would be dope
don't ever modify an older classic. especially with these. the new ones are great to modify. the classics are only original once and really rare.
Actually one with a cocking button on the back are collectable now. Take a look on eBay. Not terribly expensive, but keep going up.
I also have the one with the round knob in the back and sat years because it wouldn't hold pressure and finally took it out and replaced the o ring on the valve and works like a charm just ordered the plumber pumper and the suppressor from Buck Rail super pump to get it back in action.
the Buck Rail mounts are a lot better than the Crosman mounts. The barrel roll is isn't as bad, but there is still movement. I put the Buck Rails on my 362. I decided to put blue lock tight where the barrel enters the breech. Now the barrel does not roll. Works for me.
good tip
Wow
A steel or aluminum breach upgrade and a proper scope mount is definitely the first upgrades I intend to do on my 1322 and 362...the 1322 will benefit from just the breach sight upgrade, but the 362 will get both in favor of a good scope mount
If your going to get the steel breech there are steel rails that are picking and they screw on to it.
The breech is why it moves so good move add a longer barrel for more power and flat top the valve and replace the pump cup that and transfer port were all the power made and crossmods website has a bigger pump handle and the also have a bolt and nut that replaces that Cole roll pin 👍✌️🛠️💯🤔🎯
Second feedback yes my barrel on this model moves , i epoxy the front sight to the barrel using green stuff and smooth the putty out air brushed it black it’s fine no barrel movement.
A steel or brass breech is a life changing addition to a 1322 . I like mine. That and a flat top piston and valve gives me 540 to 560 fps with crosman pellets.that is a nice rat Wacker.
What did the steel breech really do as far as upgrading goes? Why is it a must mod if you only had one mod?
@@JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL It has an integrated dovetail for mounting optics, but I don't know if it provides any benefits to accuracy by itself. Also more robust than the stock plastic part. I suppose if you had only one mod and adding a scope wasn't a priority you might go with a piston instead, or one of the larger foregrips for more comfortable pumping.
Add the steel breech kit which will allow you to mount a red dot or scope giving you better accuracy.
Hi, just recived my 1377, happy with it, i think its a good product out of the box, but : i have purchased mine after seeing your videos about transforming that pistol, into a small precise compact "sniper" platform... with a butt stock, a scope AND a silencer. So i am planning on getting or making parts to modify the gun. So far what i understood, is 1 - METAL BREACH is obligatory, to put the scope without fluffysness on the barrel 2- i kinda want to add a picatiny under the handguard to quick attach / detach a buttstock ( like scope ring with pipe tube... simple ) 3- ( MOST QUESTION HERE ) i kinda want to add a suppressor adapter directly on the barrel, not on the platic part at the front. For me the silencer adapter HAS TO be directly on the barrel... so i am currently brain working on a front piece design / material to replace the original one, and let the tip of the barrel free of space to get a silencer adapter add on. On the specific part 3 of my monologue, feel free to comment / propose solutions.
Thx for the content, your videos are good explanations.
Have a great day every one, feel free to help me with the silencer adapter question.
Ya I suppose if you flatten a piece out on the end of the barrel or square a portion then you could mount a can that uses an torx to bolt it tight through the can and onto the flat squared portion of the end of the barrel?
@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan do not know at the time, not dissasemble anything yet, but surely its possible to add a sound moderator ON the barrel, to avoid any issues with miss alignement between barrel / suppresor at the shot. Will work on this. Thx for replying man. Also the buck rail sound suppresor seems very very good at Db lowering... for in my opinion a pretty small size... wondering what it look like inside, i want to kinda try to make my own, as good, or better ( think maybe the same "technology" in a longer size could maybe do it ) if you had any link to an image / video of the inside of this.
Thx man
Crosman has a kit that hasn't gotten much attention. It's called "The Drifter" and it's available on their website.
At the time I bought mine a few months ago, they only had it in .22 caliber, but with enough requests they would probably add .177.
It's a nice kit.
Got one coming any day now. I have a 1377 with a few mods and REALLY looking forward to the same in .22.
I just got into airguns, picked up the Drifter kit and a 1377. Looking to pick up some Buck Rail components, so thank you for the reviews. Looks good!
Hey guys, for you that know stuff, I want one. Amazonian only.has one seller but I can't seem to find any model number on it the .22... help?...never mind, it's the 1322.
❤. Love that setup!!.
greetings where did you buy the suppressor
Check the pinned comment!
I 3d printed my own optic mount and it has zero play even with the plastic breach
Co to za tłumik i czy mogę w Polsce kupić ulepszony tłok ?
Where do you buy upgrade parts for crosman I'm about to get a few of them and I'd like to buy suppressors and stocks and any other upgrades for pistols to turn them into carbines like the new ones that are out the CO2 2400 XL whatever and the 177 version
buck rail is the brand
Crosman does sell the same kind of mounts and you get the same kind of wiggle !
I got a breech for the scope mount and extra sturdyness to add my 18in barrel
I really like your LDC but it wouldnt work with a longer barrel
Nice stock tho!
Any discount for buckrail ?
No I don't actually, but honestly, it's pretty darn cheap already. He probably can't discount it at those prices!
Uh oh, you "fikkin" to go down that rabbit hole! haha Oh, where will it all end? When you have spent maybe 4 times the cost of the gun, ha I feel for you, brother, there is no end in sight for me. "The kids can live on biscuits, I need parts for me guns"!
LETS GO BRANDON!
Mount a bi-pod on your 2240 with a Buck Rail Dr. Murfee mount.
Cool accessory, but I don't own a 2240 unfortunately
should have put a steel breech on it for your optics
Is this mod only necessary if you want to put optics on? Any other benefits?
If you plan to use an optic you really need a new breech.
Pro tip, get a steel breech and bed the barrel into the breech with green loctite.
What length barrel are you running and what moderator is that you have?
Pistol length, and it's a buck rail mod!
She looks good man. I run the buckrail moderator also and a few other upgrades from them. Do you have accuracy issues with the moderator on? For some reason I do.
Have you tried putting black tape under the br. Mounts.
Nope, good idea!
Crosman stock addition works fine. I used super glue to lock it down.
yeah the base gun may be $50 but after modding it out you can have $500 in it.
Omg...
Ciao il prezzo 4.5 completoa grazie
Where did you purchase the LDC from?
buckrail
@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan Is that a shop or an online site?
I added the buckrail ldc and got a shotgun pattern, bored it out. And still nothing had changed looks like im out 50 dollars since it didnt work for both my 1377 and 1332. But its all good as an ldc to keep it quiet. I just wished it worked out for me.
Hi, could you please give me a direct link to this scope with its mount, so scope plus mounts for it. Thank you.
Ciao il prezzo 4.5 completa
Ciao il prezzo completa 4.5grazie mille
.22 drifter leaks easily..... Mounting almost anything to the barrel causes a breach leak now it has 0 accuracy..... Even after removing the picatinny rail the leak has not been fixed and still shoots of shotgun pattern returning it or selling it for parts on ebay...
Put in rubber in scope mount can make it tight
