But yes, they are getting a bit hard to find.....And I know Y now mate....You have them all lol!!! Well later this week I am off to NY to go to the Fest for Beatles fans :). So, I do hope you toon in for all of the fun videos to come!!!! I hope you just take it easy and be well and safe with your back mate!!! Take care and see you later :)!!!!
Hi Brad, Yes , obviously my back is not so good with the nerve affecting my left arm sporadically , but I do what I can when I can! I’m just in the process of making another video but what with still trying to work too , I’m just so tired all the time. Glad you like those 45’s , I think they are great and would love a few more variations on those , so I’ll keep an eye out! Off to the fest , you lucky devil would love to be there, love looking for USA stuff! Must confess haven’t been on you tube , hardly at all but I will get back to it when I can. Got sone physiotherapy tomorrow, so hopefully they’ll see what’s what! Stay well mate!
Hang in there my friend!!! My Wife and I will be praying just for you that the good Lord will see you threw it all mate!!!! And yes, I hope to have some great videos sooooon:). Cheers!!!!
Hi Dave ! I’m sorry about your back acting up my friend. Very nice video of the American Apple 45s👍🏻 Careful-it’s another bottomless pit over here in the states with those 45s !😆😆😆 Stay healthy and don’t move those crates of records alone !😄👍
Hi Nick, Thanks mate , it’s as good as it can be at the moment! Oh yes don’t I know it , I’ve been trying to pick up variations on those 45’s, on stoney ground at the moment, will have to get to some record fairs! Lol , I’ll get Mrs BeatleDave to do the lifting ! Stay well!
Hi Dave, so sorry to hear about your lower back issues and I hope you recover quickly & fully. I loved the look at the Apple 45's, and I have many of them including the picture sleeve of "Ballad of John & Yoko"/"Old Brown Shoe." I would love to see your various Parlophone 45's from around the world.
Hi Dennis, Appreciate that mate , it’s getting there slowly but the sciatic nerve affects my arm too every so often. I’d certainly love the other USA picture sleeves but not always easy to get nice ones, but I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got. Sadly apart from the U.K. & USA I don’t have anything else. They may be surprising to you but just haven’t got around to getting anything single wise! Stay well!
The Apple singles that are a little darker with the "MFD. by Apple" rim text were released from 1971-1975. The lighter Apple labels with the "All rights" text on the label (your Ticket to Ride single) were released just in 1975. And the star on the label means it's from the L.A. pressing plant
Hi Sam, Thanks for the info! I did check my Bruce Spizer book out to see what I had as when it comes to the USA stuff I can never remember unlike my knowledge of the U.K. releases! Thanks for the info! Stay well!
Hi Dave - interesting that Apple USA reissued all the original Capital singles. To answer your question re non-consecutive numbering... Capital often re-released singles with the A & B sides flipped. Often these Capitol "flipped" reissues came in unique pic sleeves - eg. check out The Inner Light A-side, with Lady Madonna as the B-side.
Hi Scott, Glad you enjoyed them, didn’t realise how much they are rising in value! Thanks mate, suffered for years but definitely have had a bad bout recently, it’s not good is it mate! Stay well!
Hey ya Dave, Nice to be watching a brand new video fr.BD.'s Beatle channel!! Ya know, we've been looking at a lot of our 45's as well. I got some of these, but would like having the whole set, indeed.Looks like a unique 'Ballad of J.& Y.'there. Found a couple really cool ones about forgot own yesterday- ' Off the ground/ Cosmically Concious' white vinyl fr.another juke box set,& one nice one from ' Sometime N.Y.C. too. And merci beaucoup for le shout-out,Dave.
Hi Mike, Thought I’d better try and get one out there! Definitely would recommend these Apple 45’s they really are excellent! Yes I think I’ve got sone white Capitol vinyl 45’s from Macca which are great and I think came out around the time of the Beatles juke box 45’s! No worries about the shout out, thanks for watching my friend!
I have several American Apple 45’s in my collection. On The Beatles Apple 45’s repressed from the Capitol ones, yes they used the Capitol catalog numbers, but occasionally not the exact same master, as some copies of the Apple pressing of “Strawberry Fields Forever”/“Penny Lane” use the Promotional Mono master of “Penny Lane”.
And the star on certain Apple singles indicates that it was pressed in Los Angeles, no promotional copy, as the promotional copies had a P in front of the catalog number (following how Capitol did their own promotional singles). And original copies of the Hey Jude single have Revolution and The Beatles printed sideways. My copy of Hey Jude is like that.
Hi George, Yes I’ve heard that there is apple copies of PL/SFF with the extra flourish at the end , haven’t found one yet but I’m still looking! I assume the dead wax would reveal that on those copies ? I couldn’t remember what the star meant but yes that makes sense and the prefix P for the promo’s! Yes I’ve seen those hey Jude copies with the sideways on text! Thanks for the great info! Stay well!
@@beatledavesbeatleschannel 45-X45871 is the original Capitol deadwax numbering. Not sure if Apple kept the same number or not….I didn’t look there as a kid. 😆

Great video I have all the Beatle Capitol singles and the picture sleeves except for “Can’t Buy me Love” which goes for three hundred dollars because it’s only an East Coast press….but I got the bug so I will get it. Welcome home solider!
Hi John, Thanks for caring my friend, like you said I’m back now and not too bad at the moment! Oh yes I’d love all those but you just can’t get everything sadly but I do like those picture sleeves! Nothing wrong with the bug! Stay well my friend!
Hi, Dave. Great to hear your back feels better at the moment. These 45s are interesting to see. I've never seen any earlier tracks on the Apple label. The first track I remember seeing on Apple was Hey Jude. I do have a few 45s on Apple but they're all post 1967ish. Did you mention how long it took to collect the group of them? Saw a couple 45s in Woodstock but not in good condition. But I did find some gems....... Take care of that back young man. Talk soon . Cheers.
Hi G, Sorry I haven’t replied to your email , I’ve gotta say I just forgot but i will shortly! They also released all the USA albums on Apple in the early to mid 70’s, just another facet of collecting! I think it only took a few months to collect as I got quite a few from the same seller on eBay and I got some from the Beatles Convention. When I collect a particular aspect of Beatles releases, I’m usually full on with it! That’s nothing quite like flicking through albums and singles , really satisfying, would love to go to Woodstock near you for a rummage in those racks! Thanks mate and love to Pam!
Hi Sailor Sam, You gotta love those apple labels and cool black sleeves! I like all those little variations with some of those 45’s,a collectors delight! I’m being very careful these days , I don’t like this getting old lark! Stay well!
Hey dave, cool that you collected all these records from the USA, considering the controversy they once had here with us americans (in eagle land) about them stating that they're bigger than rod, still, amazing collection 🐱👍, sir dirk mcquickly would be proud to have loyal fans like you

fantastic!!!!!!Great job as always and you need the Ballad of John and Yoko picture sleeve which is really hard to find in mint condition. Also . first pressing of Hey Jude has smaller print and no credits other than Lennon and Mccartney . First press Beatles on apple sleeve came with thumb tab and are quite hard to find. Keep up the great work you are doing and keep it going!!!!!
Hi Robert, Glad you enjoyed the fab 45’s! Oh definitely, I’m certainly on the look out for that one and some of the others but certainly not easy to find in lovely shape! Thanks for the great information and thanks for watching! Stay well!
BeatleDave! It's been forever... I know what's like to have back problems, hope you're doing well now. Awesome collection of 45s! Are these pressed in styrene? Most US Apple 45s I have are Paul's, John's and George's. Do you have a favourite US pressing plant? Funny how most of US pressings are instantly recognizable by having none to very few rimtext on the labels and huge label variations depending on their pressing plant. Thank you very much for the video!
