Hi Brad, Have written and recorded plenty of tracks over the years and loads of cover versions also, I’ve been on American radio about 10 times also but that’s another story ! So many great original books out there to collect on both sides of the Atlantic ! Definitely a hard job to get fantastic copies of original books these days! Hi Dave, It's funny--all my Beatles music is in one room, in bags and in order but my Beatles books are in every room in the house !😆I think it might be time to corral those guys and buy a nice Beatle book case ! I have a few of those paperbacks too. It's a shame about that old binding glue when it gets too old. I'm afraid to even open some of those ! Oh well, have a great week and thanks for the video !

Hi, Dave. First off, thanks for the shout out. Interesting question in this episode. For your subscribers, Dave is an excellent musician and fabulous vocalist. I got thinking, with all the original tracks, you could produce a greatest hits CD. Great collection of 1st edition paperbacks. Was curious where you found them. I have found many interesting Beatles books at the antique/flea market in Woodstock, and usually in great shape. Larry Kane 'Lennon Revealed' and 'Ticket to Ride. Tony Bramwell, Julia Baird, Cynthia Lennon, Mark Lewisohm and Lennons third book 'Sky Writing By The Word of Mouth'. Plus lots of others that seem to be first editions. I'm sure you have tons more interesting books as well. Take care of those first editions, they're scarce these days. Cheers
Hi G, No problem mate! I must admit I did think of something along those lines but I would like one day to go back and perhaps make the earlier tracks sound better if possible! I’ve collected them from the internet or conventions generally but it’s generally better to see them in the flesh as it were! I have got an absolute stack of books and actually I gave a few away because there was so many , but I’ve generally now stopped buying them unless it’s a very special edition! I've never owned any Beatles books from the 1960s except for the 3 tour books and reissues of John's In His Own Write & A Spaniard in the Works. The Illustrated Record by Roy Carr/Tony Tyler and The Beatles Forever by Nickolas Schaffner were the first two Beatles related books I have ever owned, and those books really helped spur me on to collecting Beatles recordings. Revolution in the Head by Ian Mcdonald and The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions and Tune In by Mark Lewisohn are my favorites. Great presentation of rare Beatles books!

I've got a few original books from the 60's like A Spaniard in the works, Love letter s to the Beatles in an orange cover , A cellerfull of boys by Brian Epstein, obviously the paperbacks from the films, a few from the 70's two by George Tremlett about John and Paul, a few boyfriend annuals from the 60's. So do have any idea if they are worth anything. Like you too many to mention Thanks again

Hi Dave Hope you're well. Great selection of original Beatles related books. Did you get both of John's books from the same guy. They were both in excellent condition for their age. I think both of those books were reissued after John passed away. It's amazing what you find online these days. As the years go by items get very expensive. The sellers know someone will buy them for the prices they ask. Looking forward to the football season starting again on Saturday. Been watching the England matches in the Womens World Cup.
