    Excellent Alex!
I do hope it isn't going to be too expensive. I also hope that maybe your friend can help you start welding yourself.
If parts add up to be too much, then yes, try to sell or break for parts.

Awesome to see the old girl running! Lots of 2 doors in the UK. We seem to have a lot of Travllers, Vans and Utes in NZ. I think the 4 doors and 2 doors are not as loved here. Watching this makes me want to get out and get my old girl on the road...

Great to see the car running! The fact that the cluch has unseized suggests that it wants to be saved. In my opinion Its definitely worth saving and I'm sure people would be willing to help you with the work or help supply parts etc. Of course either way its going to be expensive and just maintaining two classic cars is difficult and expensive, let alone restoring one! Good luck with this one. Fingers crossed you can save it at a sensible price!👍

Love it, old fashioned working on cars which takes me back to the 1980's and my MK1 Fiesta, no plug and diagnostic equipment needed here. Keep the videos coming, and let's get your subscribers numbers heading upwards.

alex my chassis welding on my moggy cost me 5k! using proper repair panels, she is now as strong as an ox. I will never sell my lucy, so the money side doesn't bother me

alex you can get a cast manifold clamp which will sort that blow out, dont buy the cheap shiny metal ones, they are rubbish. either ESM or Andrew Eggleton do them

Hi Alex why don't you get yourself a mig welder .Much cheaper than paying someone.
I did just that and practiced on some old metal it's really great and not that difficult loads of videos on TH-cam.
    I restored a 1969 MK3 spitfire in 1998/2000 and still have that car also a Wolseley 4/44.1955.

It’s a wise plan getting it running before anything else and it’s good to see it running but as you know the engine is probably the cheapest bit….. if you decide to not continue at least running off the key and a good honest clean up and you’ll get the money back…. Just saying…..

I think it depends on my welder and whether he wants to take it on. I dont want it to owe me thousands. Plenty of other cars I could buy for the money. However, I'd like to see it through, hence maybe chipping away at it one bit at a time. We'll see...
