- I've been in India for 3 weeks now eating all different types of street and restaurant foods but I still haven't had any stomach problems so far. So thought I go to Delhi's worst food street and eat as much as possible from each food stand. This will not end well.

Indian here. Never, never ever touch street food. All street food made under filthy surroundings, using questionable ingredients and an absolute lack of any sort of personal hygiene by the 'chef'! 😭🤬

Only time I truly got sick was when I drank unboiled water. I drank from a spigot that others were getting water from. A man nearby yelled NO WHY YOU DO THAT and I told him "it is okay i will die tonight" then he tried to give me money lol. 24 hours later I was in a tiny desert village to work with an all girls school. Had to walk out of a meeting with all the school officials. I thought I was just being a wuss, that I'd only left because I was bored and didn't want to be there. But no, my body knew what was happening before I did. I spent hours squatting in a shower that only had steaming hot water, just throwing up thru both ends. The village elders sent out for fresh papaya because I couldn't eat anything else. For two days I lay on a cot with a fan that only turned on 10 minutes every hour. I think the heat helped me kill the poo typhoid. I am strong like you now
Btw I was very surprised at some of the items you found. I lived in India for 3 months, most of the food you got was normal and good like you said, but other things looked crazy. Maybe I forgot seeing street food like that because my brain blocked it out as a defense mechanism

The thing with Indian food is that it tastes sooooo good. I love it and will eat regardless. They always told me the spices will kill all the bacteria 😂

The true answer is that most street vendors didn’t speak any English either. It doesn’t matter what you say really you just indicate with body language that you interested in what they sell and say something. You could say anything.
I met couple sellers actually near New Delhi railway station that spoke Spanish but no English at all!

It is definitely not for beginners, but if you have decent intelligence and aren’t bothered by uncomfortable things then it can be alright. I suffered for 2 years with intense diarrohea, puking. I coudnt keep my food for a very long time, was given liquid doses to help me survive. You are really brave to try out these foods but at the end just make sure you don't fall sick and get a really dangerous parasitic disease. 😶

@@AlienExploresEarth it was back then 2007 now I am totally fine but I totally avoid street foods because I am ashamed that my people don't use gloves while serving. I mean they make lot of money but don't have time to to buy gloves or boil the food. You must try kulcha and chole, famous Street food in Delhi, it's always served hot. There are many restaurant chains I guess which you should try like haldiram, saravana bhavan and many more. So yes in general the streetfoods which serve hot dishes are pretty safe compared to dishes which are served cold.

6:02 Where tf did you hear that Delhi is the cleanest place of all India. The cleanest place in our country is Indore or Surat but definitely not Delhi. Delhi is the most polluted place in India. Also commodities like tissues for found in some specific shops but not very hard to find you just need to be a local to know where to find this stuff. Also you shouldn't have asked the food stall owners to throw the food they find it disrespectful and they were pointing to the dustbin so I that you can throw them. Also the drink that they gave is kind of a energy drink its not delicious but it is very good source of protein and gives you energy for the whole day. This is not a hate comment I just want to share some info about our country. 🤣You tried things that even I wont try so respect.
