Have you had any problems with put the fass sump under the factory fuel housing? About to install my sump and was just wondering if the factory housing blocks a bunch of fuel from it
No issues and they have it designed with channels where the fuel can flow through and into the bowl. It is a bit of a pain to put in but if you move the basket up and over you can get the upper bracket in and into place then the basket will sit perfectly on top of that upper bracket. Make sure you torque to spec and drive it and recheck torque, I had to re-torque the following day. Been running the FASS sump with my AirDog 165 5G FOR a few weeks now and have not had any issues 💯 Also on the bottom of the fuel basket I’m the tank there is a plastic screen you can pop off. You can also drill some holes but remember there is a factory pump sitting on one side lol I drill right into it 😂 which it doesn’t matter because it will be disconnected with the AirDog wiring harness anyways 💯
i just bought that raw aluminum heater/WIF fuel block from you guys to delete my engine bay fuel filter for my ‘22. Do i also need that block from fleece?
