Autism

With any kind of project, it always starts off with an idea. My idea for this project was to capture autism in females (specifically) through the eyes of my sister. I knew I really wanted to capture how my sister views the world and educate people about autism in females. One in every 42 males and one in 189 females in the United States is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. “Autism is a spectrum. This means everybody with autism is different” (NHS, September 2022).
