Hey bro I think the glitching of the phone is just a cork that a new device has like always. My iPhone 8 did something similar the guys over at AT&T was like “I don’t see a problem” but I kept noticing it. New electronics do that for some reason which I hate about electronic stuff cause they never have it to where it’s flawless on release day. I could be wrong but give it some time cause it’ll resolve itself sooner or later.

In my opinion, a long-term Pixel review would be much better because we all know the experience with the iPhone will be similar to what it has been for a long time, as Apple doesn't make significant changes. This is coming from someone who uses an iPhone. By the way, I'm planning to switch from iOS to Android, and I'm wondering what people think I should switch to - a Pixel or a Samsung device?
In my experience, I switched to a Samsung S23 Ultra first. I really lked it and it has a lot of features. I saw some videos of the Pixel and thought it looked really slick and clean, so I switched (temporarily). I really liked the features on the S23 Ultra, like a lot. When I switched to the Pixel, most of those options are gone. You can still get some alternatives, since it's android, but it just feels different when the features are integrated in the phone. Of course, in time, some of those features will come to Pixels or stock android after a few years of updates. I'm not saying the Pixel is bad, it has really good and snappy camera. I just experienced more features on the S23 Ultra that using the Pixel makes me feel like there's always something missing, so I switched back.

24+ user here lost in the wild. Pre ordered the pixel 9 pro and the phone was way too small, got so used to the Samsung that hated the distribution layout and font on that little pixel. Pre ordered the iPhone 16 plus, and noticed the missing extra 60hz, along with all the apple from android conversion. Returned and got the little 16 pro and it’s ok but now I’m used to big screens. Appreciated you mentioning the antena reception, it does decrease on the iPhone and I have to say I’m a google fi user. Same antennas as t mobile but for some reason I get better service with android phones. I couldn’t agree more with everything you mentioned about iPhone. For the long term review give the Apple Watch integration a chance and the audio output transitions issues a chance, like for example between your car to a Bluetooth headset. Is more natural and with less headaches on android. Keep the great work!🎉

@@dimitrisriberyhe ssid in the video the moft case was only 3ft protection. Which in my opinion sucks... lots of slim cases are 6 ft drop tested or even 8 ft
I took back the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the natural titanium at the World Trade Center yesterday. Honestly, it's just too massive at this point, but I also wanted to go back to smaller phones.
Its borderline my favourite phone althoug the Pixel is high up there. The Ultras are MASSIVE but I'm willing to sacrifice size for something that works SO well. However, it can be annoying to carry around sometimes.

Side by side with my 13 pro max I was shocked at how different it DIDNT look.. I didn’t notice a size difference or screen border difference.. was the most shocking thing besides the camera control being extremely difficult to use
I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi , Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation. For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without being able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.

Agree with the verdict at the end - not much point in upgrading if your phone is just a few years old. My 13PM is holding up great and I'm gonna give it another year or two. There are plenty of new features or upgrades I'd enjoy at this point, but not enough to justify spending like $2k CAD on a new phone yet. I'll also add I experienced the same weird UI lag when I installed iOS 18, but it pretty much disappeared within a few days. Not sure what that was. And... as for what phone to use next... I think it would be interesting to see you get your hands on a Xiaomi flagship or something, since we can't easily get them in Canada. See what we're missing out on.

Depends on your usage. If you want the most feature packed experience, go with Samsung. if you want simplicity with no fuss, go with the pixel
