Not drilling holes into my $1700 Decked system, but I made a great platform mount inside the back seat area of my cab for my Dometic. Not getting stolen and away from the weather. This is great though, good job!
The way I would wire the fridge would be to have the wiring start at the front of the fridge go over the top and down the back side. So when you pull it it doesn't get caught up with anything it is up on top out of the way
First video of yours I stubbled upon so I havent looked to see if you found a solution for the cord situation but what about one of those retractable cord reels? Just a thought. Quick and detailed video though
Thank you! I just used the red and black wire hider and taped it to the fridge in the direction of where the outlet was. It solved my problem but wasn't the prettiest.
I’m traveling in the van at the moment so I don’t have access to my truck. But, based on my memory there’s no way you reach that 2 inches. I would bet it all on less than an inch.
It has a German compressor with a five year warranty. They are one of the best on the market. Just because you like the name drop doesn’t make it any better.
Iceco is amazing. Love mine however they don’t make a tilting slide yet so if you want it to tilt you have to look elsewhere. Also note that slide damaged the fridge at a cosmetic point vs iceco would not have so there is a trade off. He is sharing his build as that’s what he wanted. However we each have different build wants and needs.

Just doesn’t work with a family of 5 that hit the trails.
Nice! I don't blame you.
Thanks for the post. I’m mounting a frame so basically the same concept.
Right on!
Is this the Alu cab large slide? In the video you said extra large, but I’m only seeing two options online s/m or l, thank you
I do believe it was called the XL at the time. I would just check the dimensions of your fridge vs. the slide to make sure you're solid.
Great video, buddy, just what I was looking for!
No worries!
Thanks for posting this, I am about to do the same thing, appreciate the tips.
No worries! Thanks for the comment!
Check out CNC cable track for your cable management.
Appreciate the advice!

How has your decked lid held up so far without mounting to the metal braces. I'm looking at doing something similar, and the braces just don't line up
It held up really well for me.
@@roamingwithjosh thank you for the reply. Happy adventuring
How big is your iceco fridge? which model? amount of Liters?
This was the 75
I have just shy of 2 inches of play before my fridge hits the top of my mid height bed rack. How many inches of height will this fridge slide add?

@@roamingwithjosh thanks man! Subscribed!!
Should have bolted the slide to one of the deck's steel tube cross braces.
I wanted it as far left of center as I could have it. Thanks for the comment!
Why type of bed cab is that?
RSI smart cap
Walking hypocrite. You don't want to sacrifice quality? You have iceco rather than dometic. Iceco is great but so are other fridge slides. 🤔
Thanks for the comment! You’re helping the channel grow and we appreciate that sincerely!
